A prayer for the unsung heroes who fought the good fight against satan’s own communism.
There are/were many who knew that marxism/communism is the devil’s own realm.

Jazusamo, there is a reason why nobody’s ever hired you to write headlines.

Supporting the Contras was my first real conservative activism, after the 1984 Reagan campaign. Someone let the air out of my tires in the office garage once, probably because of my “Resistencia Nicaraguense” bumper sticker ... since I doubt “Picard for President” generated such hostility.

Like so many others I thought the guy who spanked the Senate was toes up. I really got furious that the story wasn't covered by the msm.
It is amazing to me to recall the days in which President Reagan, Col North and so many lovers of freedom were dissed and ridiculed for helping freedom loving peoples who were willing to give of their life to fight for liberty, freedom and religion. The amazing part is how easily the direction of the assistance was thwarted by the Far Left Wing members of congress and the news media. We think we have a free society, but that is hardly the truth. The media regularly ignores stories of valor for freedom and promotes stories of communism veiled in touchy, feely stories helping the majority of the public to better themselves, with other peoples money and efforts. Welfare, tantamount to communist beliefs. We are a long way from where the founding fathers expected us to be by now. So far away that I don't think we will ever see the good ole days when people cared for themselves and were assisted for a short time when they couldn't. When local public charities took care of the homeless and with a much better outcome. Just a thought while reading this article.
Let's not forget that Col. North is one of the most deserving Patriots of this country. Along with the men on June 6, 1944 that this clown in the WH has seemed to have forgotten. So haven't a majority of you. How many sent a note to the WH asking him about where his admiration for the those men and women was?? If there were two I'd be thrilled.
