Enraged Lefty Slaps Barrett for Conceding

Those warm, loving, kind-hearted leftists will turn on you so fast: last night an enraged supporter of Tom Barrett slapped him for conceding the race.

I don’t recall – no pun intended – this sort of thing ever happening on an Election Night before.

I wonder how Democratic officeholders and their professional class feel about having a grassroots base that is, at least in some parts, psychotic enough to resort to physical violence upon their own candidates for acknowledging reality. At the time, Barrett trailed by about 10 percentage points or 200,000 votes; as of this morning, Walker won by 7 percentage points, or roughly 173,000 votes.

Looked genuinely serious to me...the short woman, barely visible, comes right up to him and lays a slap on the face. IMHO, she looked very unhappy with the man.

The woman who slapped him looks nutz and you can see the people around her giving her nervous glances before security takes her away. Also, his cheek turns red, so I don’t think it was exactly a playful slap.

Wow, amazing! She could have hit him harder, but that was definitely a real slap. He leaned over to reply emphatically to the short woman, and she hit him. The other woman was partially screened from the slap, and didn’t react immediately. Also the gray-haired man who was smiling took a moment to register what had happened.

I wonder what the breakdown was with the absentee ballots. Maybe they thought that once the margin of victory was known, they could discover enough uncounted absentee ballots for Barrett to pull it out.

Like "Landslide Lyndon" in the 1948 Senate primary.
