MILWAUKEE, Wis. Speaking at two rallies Sunday and Monday, Rev. Jesse Jackson compared Wisconsin GOP Gov. Scott Walker to segregationist Alabama governor George Wallace and said Walker is perpetuating segregation in Milwaukee.
.
.
Why is Milwaukee so segregated and so-locked out? Because of a lack of access to transportation, Jackson told the press alongside a group of local church leaders. If you are in fact on welfare, you cant own a car.Without public transportation, you cant get to the job, and the job cant get to you.
That is why, Jackson said, Milwaukee has become the poorest and most segregated city in the state.
The governor of this state refused to accept $800 million from President Obama, Jackson said, drawing boos from the small audience outside a downtown municipal building. He turned down the jobs creator. That was money for Americans who can make the steel, lay the rails, build the trains, unite Milwaukee and Madison and Chicago, and put Wisconsin and Illinois and America back to work.
.
.
Under Barretts leadership, African American joblessness rose by 150 percent in Milwaukee.
Jackson appeared at both events in a Mercedes Benz S550 and was escorted by a Cadillac Escalade ESV. The starting price of the S550 is about $100,000; the Escalade retails for almost $70,000.

0bummer, Sharpscum, Bidet, Pelousy, Clitton, Carter, Reid, 97% of libs-dems, 85% of GOP-e, OWS, Soros, SEIU, Ayers, Dorn... I could go on and on and on for hours.
I don't think that is true. Cars are expensive, yes, but I don't think there is any prohibition against owning one. And there is all kinds of public transport. I live in Ozaukee County, and we have special buses that pick up in Milwaukee and bring the workers out to the factories and take them home again. Of course it is not convenient, but neither is owning and caring for a car.
We've employed workers from the inner city and their biggest problem is getting tickets for not having a license plate. Other people in the inner city steal their license plates, if the tags are up to date. Savvy people display their license plate in the back window of their cars, instead of their bumpers, so that they are not so easy to steal. Or, they take them inside at night.
I was talking to a Hmong man one day at a car dealership. (We were both waiting for a salesman.) He was looking for a car for his wife, and he told me that where he lives, he takes the battery in at night, or it gets stolen.
So, I challenge gas-bag Jesse. Is any of that Scott Walker's fault?
:: That was money for Americans who can make the steel, lay the rails, build the trains, unite Milwaukee and Madison and Chicago, and put Wisconsin and Illinois and America back to work. ::
Yes, those Americans who aren’t you, stuck here on the urban plantation. The Union workers who live comfortably in the suburbs will have sustained employment so that you can have public transportation and still be stuck here in the projects counting on the Welfare Masters to provide for your sustenance.
Face it homie, you ain’t getting none of that $800MM and surely ain’t gettin out of the PJs.3
Oh, and, don’t forget to vote D on Tuesday.
Interesting. That’s for sure.
There are plenty of buses, driving around empty. And thre are plenty of bus shelters — mostly empty. As I said above, Jesse is a gas-bag.
This scumbag race hustler is the one dividing... Where are the GOP leaders blasting this guy out of the water? Why are they so afraid?
FUJJ
Oh - if you go to the site, there is a description on the picture - “Rev. Jesse Jackson at a protest in Wisconsin in 2011”.
No, Jesse, that would be the Milwaukee Mayor, who is institutionalize segregation with his divisive policies....that YOU support!
Yep. Play the race card. That’s all he and the “Reverend” Sharpton can do.
That is funny!
Let's see. We have the Black Caucus, the NAACP, black politcal, lobbying and social groups by the 1,000's, black studies, BET, affimative action, the National Black Republican Association and a multitude of other black/'African American' publications, associations and depts.
While the weather was especially cold last week Thursday (low 40's near Lake Michigan), the picture attached to this story about Jackson's visit to Wisconsin this past weekend is actually from the Unionistas' Capitol sit-in during February/March 2011.
Jesse Jackson should simply S T F U.
Sounds like Jesse is getting diminishing returns from his act. (Yes, I know the boos were for Walker, but the SMALL AUDIENCE was for poor old Jesse.
Oh, wait....
No. The UNIONS and their followers who do not desire to learn the FACTS are segregating Wisconsin. Luntz had a good focus group on Hannity last night. There were two very outspoken women speaking out against Walker and then Hannity asked for union members in the focus group to raise their hands. Both of the outspoken women raised their hands and one of them was a union boss. She kept saying that Walker did not want to come to the negotiation table. I say “ELECTIONS HAVE CONSEQUENCES”. Wasn’t it Obama during “negotiations” with Republicans where he said “I WON”?

The race baiting, rabble rousing, extortionist and hypocrite should be a LOT sicker.
George Wallace was a democrat - a democrat who played on racial fears to further his own power. Jesse Jackson is MUCH closer to being Wallace...
