Unbelievable. The Democrats are looking down the barrel of a humiliating defeat in Wisconsins recall election on Tuesday, so today they played their last card: they started a rumor that Scott Walker fathered an illegitimate child 24 years ago. The scoop comes from something called the Wisconsin Citizens Media Co-op. The Co-op attributes the story to a woman named Bernadette Gillick, who teaches physical therapy at the University of Minnesota. Ms. Gillick claims to have known Walkers girlfriend when they were students at Marquette. The Co-op says it has not been able to independently verify Bernadettes account. No surprise there.
Same thing Barbara Boxer did in 1992, alleged at the last minute that her opponent frequented Hollywood strip clubs.
Like clockwork....wonder what they’ll unload on Romney about November 3rd...
In case this hasn’t been posted, I found this earlier.
The domain name recallscottwalker was registered on November 2, 2010.
Walker started January 2011. http://is.gd/R48gcX
...but Democrat likely voters have swung UP in favor of Walker by 20 points. He’s a new lefty hero. Now, if we learn his putative girlfriend actually aborted the baby, he may win all of the lefty vote.
So predictable from scared chitless losers.
This will encourage more donations. I just did.
>> wonder what theyll unload on Romney about November 3rd <<
That he’s a secret coffee drinker. There go his electoral vote margins in Utah, Idaho, Arizona, Nevada and Colorado!
This has already been debunked by of all sites The Daily Kos.
They are desperate losers. They will not win, however.
For what it’s worth, Walker is back up to 96% on Intrade as of 15:15 CDT.
Your intuition is dead on target - we’re looking at one of the nastiest elections in US history, I think.
Just don't try that kinda high-falutin' word usage in Spanish!
My prediction:
If Romney wins, it will be by a landslide.
If Obama wins, it will be by a mudslide.
Is anybody surprised at this move. Remember, Herman Cain got taken out by the mere ALLEGATION that he had helped out someone who came to him with a hard-luck story, and it spun totally out of control.
When all else fails, try to pin a sexual misconduct story on the Republican officeholder. After all, it is the serious nature of the charge, not the factual content of the allegation, that is the important thing.
Of course, if similar charges are brought against a Democrat who is trying to defend his elective position, the charges are only a resume enhancement. Even John Edwards does not seem to be all that tarnished by his recent confrontation with the law.
It would be interesting to know if the person or business buying the domain was from WI.
I hope this makes conservatives work all the harder - as they most certainly should.
Shouldn’t this be simply titled, “Democrats go over the top.........”..................
I think that deserves an editorial all it’s own. :)
LOL - that'll hurt those smear-mongers more than anything else.
