Re: Your post #6.

Careful.
Pride goes before destruction, and haughtiness before a fall.

Although Milt does not represent conservatives
and should not be the candidate,
today he might be (possibly unfairly) cited for the following:

"Just one day after GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney
castigated President Obama for his support of shuttered
California solar panel company Solyndra,
a Lowell company Romney supported
as Bay State governor is closing down.
Mitt Romney’s big green flop
June 2, 2012 - "A Bay State solar panel developer that landed a state loan
from Mitt Romney when he was Massachusetts governor has gone belly up
a day after the GOP presidential hopeful ripped
President Obama’s green-energy investments.
.... A Romney spokesman could not be immediately reached for comment."

Mitt Romney has a Solyndra-like failure in his past, too: report [Oops...]

Wallace opens with ‘job #1 is getting people back to work’

lol

For Obama, Job #1 is finding a good golf course for himself and another ideal vacation spot for Michelle and the kids.

Gillespie on Romney: I think he believes ...

[You THINK? Why don’t you find out. You are his advisor. ‘I think’ seems to indicate you really aren’t sure what Romney believes or where he stands on the issues. Gillespie sounds weak, hesitant, unsure.]

Chris Wallace was playing from the democrat playbook this morning when questioning Ed Gillespie.

Ed’s not exactly dynamic but he did have a few facts at his command. And the whole debate made me wonder about statistics.

Chris’s statistics (about the economy during Romney’s stint as governor) were the polar opposite of those of Ed.

I always said the only statistics I believe are the ones I make up myself and this seems to be a good motto.

The dems are masters of manipulating and lying about statistics.

Chris kept trying to get Ed to say why the Republicans wouldn’t pass some of the measures that Obama is so frantically working on (between golf games, of course).

I wish Ed would have refuted some of those specifically.

For example Obama’s brilliant idea about rewarding small business by giving them a few thousand bucks for a new hire is just pathetic.

It would have been refreshing to see a fast talking, totally informed guy like Newt refute that crapola but Ed must be a good campaign manager even if he’s not a brilliant talker.

Romney is weak on defense and foreign affairs. He should pick Petraeus and run on the theme of competence. I would go as far as say that Petraeus should take both the SoS position and the VP position, although having Bolton as SoS is a warm thought.

I rarely watch television, almost never. But I was setting up my home theater system and had to have sound routed through it, so I had one of the morning shows on.

Let me tell you, from the perspective of someone who isn’t inured to it by constant watching, the ball washing that took place for Obama and his Administration was nauseating. Even to just hear a few clips in the background was enough to make me turn my head and wrinkle my nose in disgust.

Just amazing.
