President Obama Insults Former President Bush At His Own Portrait Hanging
The Blaze ^ | 5/31/12 | Mytheos Hold

Posted on 05/31/2012 9:51:15 PM PDT by Nachum

Apparently, as with so many other things, some people who hold the Presidency have class and some don’t. To all appearances, former President George W. Bush is the former, and current President Barack Obama is the latter, at least if this afternoon‘s unveiling of former President Bush’s Presidential portrait is any guide.

This event – which is, at least in theory, supposed to be free of partisan sniping, got an earful of just that when President Obama gave his introductory remarks welcoming Bush:

President Obama on Thursday twisted the knife he‘d stuck in his predecessor’s legacy, reminding former President George W. Bush that he left the economy a mess and al Qaeda mastermind Osama bin Laden alive when he left the White House three years ago.

“The months before I took the oath of office were a chaotic time,” Obama told a crowd of mostly former Bush administration officials and members of the Bush family, including Bush’s parents, former President George H.W. Bush and former first lady Barbara Bush.[...]

“We knew our economy was in trouble, our fellow Americans were in pain, but we wouldn’t know until later just how breathtaking the financial crisis had been,” Obama continued, raising some eyebrows among the Bush crowd seated just a few feet away.

That would be illegal.

However..if you think their business is going down, you CAN purchase an insurance policy that pays to you when they go belly up. You can also sell their stock short while you’re waiting.
It’s called a credit default swap, lol.

They only understand abject force and restraint, because they refuse to abide by wisdom, knowledge, and instruction.

Yes, that's so accurate! "You're acting like a Democrat!" I say to whichever child is excusing what he's done because, if it was wrong, someone should have stopped him. "A decent person," I explain, "would never have considered doing that in the first place."

I actually scrolled back looking for author ‘John Semmens’ because I thought this was satire, as well...words fail me.

Sorry my fellow Americans are so damn stupid, Mr. President...may G-d forgive them. (The ‘President’ I am referencing is Mr. Washington, not that ‘whatever’ in the lower corner...)

I do that at least twice on an average day.

BTW, can you put an insurance policy on someone else?

In general, insurance companies won't sell you a policy on someone with whom you do not have a direct personal or business relationship.

I can see where you're going with this ... you'd probably be better off going to Vegas with it.

“I am certain that the Big Zero will have to answer to history “

I have no doubt. When you lose the power you lose the ‘friends.’ We all know Barry has no friends. They will all write the tell-all books once the crown falls from his head.

I would pardon Rezsko if he would write about his times with the bamster. I bet even Axelrod will turn on him. I bet Moochelle will write a book about their sham marriage. It’s all about money and fame and the greedfest will start the day after he leaves office.

I didn’t know whether to laugh or to cry at that graphic. I think both reactions are valid.

I told my wife about how Zero insulted the Bush's this morning, and she just looked at me speechless.

Once again, he shows himself to be a classless, thuggish, lowlife, who has no business being anywhere on the grounds of our White House, let alone, inhabiting it.

I saw the author of The Amateur being interviewed the other day on TV. He said that Biden and others had urged the President not to try to force the contraception/sterilization/abortifacient measure on the Catholic Church, but it was Valerie Jarrett who insisted on it. It sounds like Obama can't say "no" to her.

“Yes, George, we miss your terribly.”

Double dittos. I really miss him too. The man is human with a good heart, and we haven’t had a president with his sense of humor since Reagan.

Politics aside, like unionizing TSA screeners, I doubt anyone could have navigated the 9/11 presidency better. Yes, he gave the republican congress too free a rein, but I believe he didn’t fight back on their spending so long as he got their support on the war on terror.

The present occupier and defiler of the office of the presidency is sickening. I could not believe the official White House photo of Memorial Day. Am still retching

I agree. No one could have navigated the post 9/11 period better than W. I do wish he had immediately closed our boarder with Mexico but overall he provided the country with what was needed at that time.

I can’t believe that Michelle wore a sundress to the portrait event. Maybe she is having hot flashes. More likely she just likes poking her finger in the eyes of those she dislikes or intimidated by.

This particular portion ....

And that’s why, from time to time, those of us who have had the privilege to hold this office find ourselves turning to the only people on Earth who know the feeling. We may have our differences politically, but the presidency transcends those differences. We all love this country. We all want America to succeed. We all believe that when it comes to moving this country forward, we have an obligation to pull together. And we all follow the humble, heroic example of our first President, George Washington, who knew that a true test of patriotism is the willingness to freely and graciously pass the reins of power on to somebody else.

That’s certainly been true of President Bush. The months before I took the oath of office were a chaotic time. We knew our economy was in trouble, our fellow Americans were in pain, but we wouldn’t know until later just how breathtaking the financial crisis had been. And still, over those two and a half months -- in the midst of that crisis -- President Bush, his Cabinet, his staff, many of you who are here today, went out of your ways -- George, you went out of your way -- to make sure that the transition to a new administration was as seamless as possible.

President Bush understood that rescuing our economy was not just a Democratic or a Republican issue; it was a American priority. I’ll always be grateful for that.

#55: Reading your post led me to start thinking about the significance of Christian beliefs. Other than the obvious, I believe Satan works strongly in people like the nobamas in order to promote the very characteristics you mention in your post, which are the antithesis of a Christian’s character. We all know people who believe themselves to be Christians, but by their values, there is doubt. The nobamas exemplify this observation.

These Obamas are the representatives for and ambassadors of those who love, make, and believe lies. That *is* the demographic of the ones who are marked with the mark/name/number of the beast.

A person's "name" is what he is known by, IOW his character. When we have someone's "number", it means we perceive his character. A person's character is marked (made manifest) by his actions. "He is his father's son" is an idiom describing a person whose character and direction is the same as his father's.

Mark/character/name/number of the beast and his system = living, loving, walking on the path of and perpetuating lies. LIES are the testimonials from this crowd.

Mark of the servants of God = living, loving, walking on the path of and perpetuating Truth, which is Torah, i.e. the Word of God. TRUTH is the testimony that comes out of their mouths.

The hour is very late.
