RUSH: Okay. So President Obama gives the highest honor, the Presidential Medal of Freedom, to a Marxist socialist. What is the media narrative? The media narrative is Romney is out of kilter with America because he will not denounce Donald Trump as a supporter. While Obama is honoring Marxists and socialists (Toni Morrison is one as well), the media is ripping Romney to shreds for being out of touch with America because Trump is a supporter and contributor. Last night and this morning, we have a media montage of media people demanding that Romney denounce Trump and me.
RON BROWNSTEIN: Mitt Romney holding back and being fundamentally silent while Trump is bloviating, as he was on Rush Limbaugh.
MARIA CARDONA: (haltingly) He can't even stand up to Donald Trump, to Rush Limbaugh.
JAMAL SIMMONS: ...wouldn't stand up to Rush Limbaugh.
JOAN WALSH: He feels like you can't afford to alienate -- certainly not Rush Limbaugh.
JIM DEAN: Not only would Mitt Romney not stand up to Donald Trump, but he wouldn't stand up to Rush Limbaugh.
RUSH: They're throwing me in there, and I haven't done anything lately. I haven't done anything. All I've done is survive. It ticks 'em off. So they throw me in there with Trump, and that means Romney is out of touch. "Romney doesn't have the slightest idea what to do, what's going on! He's not qualified to run this country," because he won't denounce me or Trump. Last night on CNN's Erin Burnett OutFront, the guest was Democrat strategerist Jamal Simmons. Here's the question: "Mitt Romney said he doesn't agree with all the people who support him. Does he need come out and say something about Trump?"
SIMMONS: He wouldn't stand up to Rush Limbaugh, wouldn't stand up to, uh, Rick Santorole (sic), and now he won't stand up to Donald Trump. At some point he's gotta put the lulus back in the cage (snickers) and tell them, "I'd love to have your support, but not in these circumstances." Meanwhile, the President of the United States spent the day with Madeleine Albright, and Dolores Huerta, and Toni Morrison -- you know, bestowing these medals on them. And Mitt Romney (chortling) is with Donald Trump. It's just a great contrast for the Obama people.
RUSH: It damn well is. It damn well is! Do you think the vast majority of these people relate to Toni Morrison and Dolores Huerta or Trump? Everywhere Donald Trump goes is a sellout. Donald Trump teaches a course at the New School, it's a sellout. Donald Trump does a lecture on wealth creation, it's a sellout. I know it's popular to make Trump a caricature and a joke in the left-wing media, and the same thing with me. But look at this. "Romney's running around with Trump, and he won't denounce Limbaugh, and yet there's our guy, Obama," with a couple of Marxists! "It's a great contrast for the Obama people."
Exactly right.

Mitt Romney is no longer in Massachusetts, where he had to do everything to appear to belong there, even putting aside his supposed conservative credentials. He governed as a liberal because he wanted to belong and he wanted to stay as governor.
Now he is running for President as a Republican and must have the support of conservatives nation-wide if he wants to be in the White House.
The press is applying pressure to see if they can swing the weather-cock Romney, who always points in the way the wind blows, to say something that will infuriate conservatives. All just to please the press.
What happens next could just be a game changer. Frankly, I hope he tells them to go piss up a rope!
They have to try to make people afraid of being labeled a “birther” because the HDOH just sent the AZ SOS a “verification” which actually indirectly confirms that Obama’s HI birth certificate is legally non-valid. Onaka put fudge room in there so he can deny that the verification is valid (initials other than his own by the certification), but if this is a valid document, then what it verifies is that Obama’s birth certificate is legally non-valid.
If it’s non-valid because it is late as well as amended (as seems indicated by the HDOH messing around with Virginia Sunahara’s record and BC#), then Obama has NEVER had a legally-valid HI BC. Anytime he presented a BC, it was from somewhere besides HI. Which explains why all his records are hidden.
Here’s how the “verification” indirectly confirms that Obama’s BC is legally non-valid:
Bennett told TheCipher (a Freeper) he DID ask for the birth date – which was only on the request form, so he must not have withdrawn the form request. If that’s the case, then this verification is the official response to that form.
The “verification” references HRS 338-14.3 and calls itself a “verification of birth”. HRS 338-14.3 says, in part:
“(a) Subject to the requirements of section 338-18, the department of health, upon request, shall furnish to any applicant, in lieu of the issuance of a certified copy, a verification of the existence of a certificate and any other information that the applicant provides to be verified relating to the vital event that pertains to the certificate.
(b) A verification shall be considered for all purposes certification that the vital event did occur and that the facts of the event are as stated by the applicant.”
By responding at all the HDOH acknowledged Bennett’s eligibility to receive a verification. By referencing HRS 338-14.3 they are acknowledging that what they disclose is governed by that. They are REQUIRED to verify the existence of a certificate, and they did that. They did not claim that the place of birth was Honolulu, HI – only that the birth certificate “indicates” (not verifies) a Honolulu, HI birth.
The procedure for verifying the facts of birth is that the person applying for a verification gives the facts in question and the HDOH repeats back to them anything that they got right and verifies that it is correct. Anything they don’t verify as correct is not correct – either because there is something else in that field on the birth record, or because the facts about the birth cannot be certified as accurate (because the certificate is not legally valid).
When filling out that form, Bennett presumably gave the HDOH the following guesses for facts:
Gender: male
Date of birth: Aug 4, 1961
City and island of birth: Honolulu, HI/ Oahu
Father’s name: Barack Hussein Obama
Mother’s name: Stanley Ann (Dunham) Obama
The HDOH did not verify any of those facts, so they are either not what is claimed on the BC or the BC they’re on is not a legally valid record.
But the HDOH verified that the information on Obama’s posted long-form matches the information on the original record. So that can’t be the reason.
That leaves a legally non-valid record as the only reason for their refusal to verify those “facts of birth”.
This “verification” – if it legally verifies anything, given the initials by the certification on it – actually verifies that Obama’s birth record is not legally valid.
That being the case, the other items to be verified “from the record” are clearly being verified only as being ON that record – not being the true facts of his birth. If they couldn’t verify the true date and place of birth or parents’ names because the record was legally invalid, then they can’t verify ANYTHING from that BC as being true. All they can verify is what is on it, not that what is on it is true. Which is actually what is implied in the certifying statement.
Again – if the HDOH has verified anything with this “verification”, it is that Obama’s birth record is legally non-valid.
I just got coffee in my office breakroom and Jack Cafferty of CNN was droning on and on about how Romney absolutely needs to denounce Trump and he needs to do it today or else. At the end of the segment, he welcomed Wolf Blitzer who added, "Yes, you're right Jack."
But Obama can still meet for breakfast with Al Sharpton, inciter of the Freddy's riots and arson murders, and key player in the Tawana Brawley criminality.

I hope Romney knows better than to do this. McCain didn’t know better, he denounced everybody on the right, and was still shot at by the media.
If Romney is that slow a learner, he deserves to lose.

If Romney was serious, he would vow to rid the backstabbing of conservative, the Obama worship, the stuck on stupid centrist “humane” compassionate conservative victimhood plank (and replace it with real justice and vibrant open criticism), and get some serious Tparty VP.
It will not happen. So, he might as well trash Trump and RUsh as it goes, but maybe he is not so stupid and will pay some lip service to them at least to get out some excitement in the vote, because that is all that the GOP can run on. Forget women, blacks, welfare etc... That’s all Zero’s lock in.
