After nearly two weeks of heated debate over whether President Obama should attack Republican Mitt Romneys tenure at a private-equity firm, Democratic leaders across the country say they are largely united behind the strategy, even as some concede an uncertain outcome and new polls show Obama has lost ground nationally.
The Democratic leaders, in numerous interviews over the last week, said they are hearing little or no resistance among the party faithful in their states to a strategy that Republicans have characterized as anti-capitalist. And Obama has no plans to back off; his campaign will roll out more stories in the coming weeks that advisers said will again show Bain Capital as a corporate menace that protects profits at the expense of people and jobs.

Just as predicted. GOP would not vet romney on this and other things, and now the left will do what should have been done in the primary.
It's not working, and they appear to have nothing else.
But, Hickenlooper added, its too early to tell which arguments are persuading people.
Substantive arguments about facts or just using words to conjure up revulsion, disgust or loathing? If it's the latter it could be more than mere lies.. it's Obamachy;
to wit, logomachy.. lo-gom-a-chy as practiced by Obama. Misusing words and thus a dispute about words. Pothead Barry does it virtually on everything. He merits his own word for it.
Attacking your largest donor base as a winning political strategy.
Brilliant.
I think this is great. I predict that just a little further down the line, people that do not now understand this will somehow wake up to the the idea that if not for rich people or the government, nobody would start businesses, and nobody would have jobs. The idea that you either work for the government, sponge off the government, work for a “rich” person trying to become richer, or work AS one of those rich people trying to make YOURSELF richer, you have no future.
It will take a little time for this to sink in, but I think is great. I believe that with this, 0bama has chosen a losing strategy. And I hope he bricks himself into it.
You can go to the Romney site and vet him yourself.....I believe once Romney took care of Bain and straightened the company out and put it in the black...he left to do the same somewhere else.
The GOP vetted the heck out of Romney the last time he ran and more this time...if anyone questioned Obama they were branded racist...Google up the history...do some research your self. Romney is not the showman Clinton was and Obama is nor does he have the propaganda ‘war-room’ Obama does 24/7. Romney knows how many states are in the United States, he knows how to pronounce corps and I bet knows where the Falkland Islands are...Obama thought the Falkland Islands were the Maldives....the MSM and Obama operatives keep repeating and repeating misinformation about Romney till even you are believing it. You could read about Bain here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bain_%26_Company or you could just go on parroting...........

I don’t need to vet Romney, I know what he is, a typical RINO, much like both George Bush’s, maybe not quite as bad as Nixon but much better than Rockefeller. One thing RINO Romney is though, through and through is a Capitalist.
This election is the easiest choice we have had in my lifetime to choose the right candidate. We have a choice between a right leaning RINO and a ultra far left Socialist.
I would rather be voting for a hard right politician but the only one running didn’t win. She didn’t get in nearly early enough and didn’t have nearly the money required to win the nomination for president.
The choice between the Socalist/Marxist Obama and the RINO Romney is even more obvious than Reagan & Carter. Carter hid some of his socialist tendencies, Obama doesn’t even try anymore. Obama knows he has the press behind him so he doesn’t worry about what he says, he just wants to appease his base.
Romney = Capitalist
Obama = Socialist/Marxist
What more do you need to know?
There are another million things about Romney that I could tell you that would make you not care too much for him but after the above, they don’t matter, well, they don’t matter enough to affect the way I’m going to vote anyway.
I read as much as I could on Bain months ago and not just romney's explanation or the lefts version. The truth is hard to figure out. The facts people will know is that lots of people lost jobs, income and romney's company made a ton of money. Many kept saying bain will hurt romney, no matter what really happened. This is an easy smear & had the gop not treated romney with kit gloves; trashing anyone who challenged him, we might have ended up with someone who wasn't a rich guy who made his money off of others misfortunes. He not only doesn't excite people, but he has angered many pro-lifers and traditional family voters. The gop decided a while back that if obama was moving left, they had to also. So now the democrats have become socialist and the republicans are last years democrats. They don't care about social conservatives, so why should we call ourselves republican anymore? Many are waiting for romney to reach out; I've given up on that.
Mitt should have a slew of ads in the can ready to roll whenver a Dem trots out this line of attack. He can show how much taxpayer money Obama has wasted on “green” energy, talk about GM opening plants in China and Mexico, about subsidizing electric car production in Finland, etc.
If he was feeling really good, he would explore how bailout cash was laundered thru union dues into Dem campaign contributions.
If he was feeling great, he would talk about a rogue administration that refuses to obey the law and/or decides which laws it will enforce (i.e. DOMA, budgets), a racist DOJ, and a Sec of State seeking to subvert American sovereignty. He could talk about an administration that strangles American energy production here will lavishing tax dollars on foreign producers (e.g. Brazil) and that is borrowing 40% of every dollar it spends on foreign aid to enemies of the country.
