What do Obama and Elizabeth Warren have in common? Neither one is a native American.

Since racial quotas are so important in terms of federal grants, etc. is it a federal crime to represent yourself as a minority?

Here’s what I don’t understand. Doesn’t Prof. Gates teach there and isn’t he the one who has just finished a series of programs documenting people’s roots, especially using DNA? All they need is to give her a test and we’ll all know what kind of heritage she has. I haven’t seen anyone even suggest this and wonder why not.

"Alan Ray, the former administrator who filed diversity reports during Warren's tenure, distances the university from any responsibility for erroneously listing her as a Native American.""Harvard 'always accepted whatever identification a faculty member wanted to provide'"
The second statement exposes the fundamental mendacity of the first.

Given her name, I am surprised she didn’t claim Mayflower ancestry.

So before Alan Ray gave Warren support, all those years, and now that her heritage claims come under serious scrutiny, he’s taking it back...?
Sounds like an Indian-giver to me.

It's funny that the same school that forced out Larry Summers over remarks about women achieving high status, are now forced to defend a woman who falsified her identity in order to achieve high status.
