Funeral home obituaries list Quinten as 17 years old and Eddie as 20 years old.
They were NOT kids, they were an adult and almost adult but not kids, certainly should have been able to understand the implications
You live by the sword, you die by the sword
If he told them to stop, he has a common law right (see Garner v. TN, 471 US 1, (1985)) to use deadly force because they were fleeing felons; unless the state has passed a law stating otherwise.

In reading the story, the brothers were just little angels and the clerk should have thought about what their parents would feel like when he killed them. These people are idiots, the cousin of the thugs especially.
The last line of the article when asked about the clerk, she’s all well yeah, but still we can’t forget that two lives were lost. Really? What would have said had it been reversed and the brothers lived but beat the clerk to death, idiot cousin. grrr.
Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
I also saw that they had the comments disabled at the originating website, perhaps they were afraid of just what reasonable people would have to say.
According to the article, the clerk shot an honor-roll student. I wonder what the All-Scholastic team is like at that high school. /S
Undoubtedly these will be reported in the statistics as gun deaths of children..
If Obamacare can cover you until you’re 26, that would make you a child up to that age.
Both had only half eaten bags of skittles in their pockets.
Here is a pic of one of the "victims" from his myspace page:
Here are some comments from some of their outraged friends who know a victim when they see one...
Most states have changed the common law on that. Also under federal civil rights law one cannot deprive another of life w/o due process of law etc. That’s why all these cop shows have the perp jumping out a window and they run for blocks with out-of-shape officers striving to keep up. Would be nice if they could simply plug them.
Under the common law, private citizens have greater powers to use deadly force than cops. Read the case I cited and you will see that.
Another comment on Garner v Tennessee, this involved police shooting the fleeing suspect. Based on department policy and state law allowign police to use deadly force to prevent a felon from fleeing if it might cause danger to another person, etc., then cops should use deadly force. The divided court sent it back for more proceedings. As I say, most states have mellowed out rights to use deadly force. As to citizens arrest, which you are discussing, they have less rights than polce. Each state talks about what force a citizen may use to apprehend or stop a suspect. Sometimes citizens trying to apprehend these clowns are themselves charges with abduction, unlawful restraint, menacing etc.
I read the case and I respectfully disagree with your interpretation. Anyone using deadly force does so at their peril, and is at the “mercy” of media, often politically motivated public authorities etc.
“Garner v. TN, 471 US 1”
Thanks for posting Garner v. TN, 471 US 1. I looked it up, does that apply to police officers only or everyone?
At http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tennessee_v._Garner (*spit I can not stand Wikipedia) it is not clear.
As the Brits used to say,
“Good riddance to bad rubbish.”
If only the clerk would have stayed in his car . . . /s
In that case, you could say that Ubama killed them.
Looks like a CZ or maybe an Anschutz. Probably stole it.
