Well, lookit this. Houstonians need to scream it from the rooftops that the DOJ will be at every polling place.
The fact that they don’t care about absentee and early tells me the fix is IN for those three areas.

Eric Holder just hates Republican voting Texas. Think he’d like to put a fence around our state and declare us an enemy nation - you know, all these legal guns and preppers down here who have several Bibles in the house.
Every state office holder is a Republican and we have the majority in the Texas House and Senate.
Ya’ll come down and visit this freedom state. Holder can stay in Washington. We don’t need his liberal kind down here.

The Sheriff of each of these counties should announce that they will be personally monitoring the Just-us Dept.folks—you know, so they don’t step on a fire ant hill or sumthin’.

Strange.
The Justice Dept did not seem concerned when armed Black Panthers intimidated voters in Philadelphia.

The Justice Department announced today that it will monitor primary elections on May 29, 2012, in Fort Bend, Harris and Jefferson Counties in Texas It could be worse. The U.N. could decide to send monitors.

The Voting Rights Act prohibits discrimination in the election process on the basis of race, color or membership in a minority language group.

“...minority language group” So, if we’re white, then it’s o.k. for the Black Panthers to intimidate us at the polling place as long as we speak English; huh?

In addition, the act requires certain covered jurisdictions to provide language assistance during the election process. "Language assistance?"
WTF?
Why would anyone who is an American Citizen need "language assistance?"
Oh, I get it: those who are here and "UNDOCUMENTED" and have not gotten around to learn our language (and more than likely are NOT eligible to vote, but as they need not show any ID, will be allowed anyway) may need "assistance" to show them which "Demo-Rat" they should vote for.
Nuttin to see here folks; just move along, its the new norm so get used to it.

Why not simply prohibit ANY discrimination at all?

Not the first time they’ve been in Texas to monitor elections. There were here on May 12, 2012 to monitor municipal elections in Dallas, Galveston and Jasper Counties.

I hate to say it, but it’s almost a given that there is going to be trouble in Harris Co. This fed monitoring is part of the plan.

So does this mean they can stop the voting if they see something they don't like? For instance, white voters wearing Pro-Life buttons or white voters wearing American flag lapel pins or white voters wearing crucifixes or white voters in general? Would they get upset if black voters are holding “voting guides” that tell them who to vote for? Would they get upset if Hispanics are wearing any representation of the flag of Mexico? Would they get upset if any race wore a Romney 2012 pin? How about a Obama 2012 pin?
We all know the answer to that. ALL OF THIS CRAP COMES TO A ROARING STOP IF VOTER I.D. LAWS ARE ENACTED. But voter I.D. laws need teeth. How about the first punishment for possessing or providing a false voter I.D. is immediate forfeiture of all property and possessions along with immediate deportation. Hispanics could be returned to their native countries, African-Americans to Northern Sudan (I hear they need more cannon fodder), and all others to their true hearts desires, Mother Russia?
The way you handle a cancer is you cut it out or you poison the body to make the cancer die or you irradiate it. I vote for options 1 and 3.

...and Jefferson Counties in Texas...Oh, now I
know something "hinky" is going on.
On a county by county comparison this county has been alone in a sea of the opposite color for years.
This is from the 2008 election and Jefferson County (Beaumont is the largest city) is the red county on the lower right, just to the right of Harris County (Houston is the largest city), the other red county.
There is a rather large black population block here and they don't seem to have ever had a problem in the past with voting.

Here is the county by county map for 2004 for comparison.
Still red. Even Harris County was blue that time.
