Palin jumped the shark when she couldn’t get her man, Joe Miller, to defeat despicable RINO Murkowski. Her influence is waning the further she gets away from 2008. If Romney wins in 2012, Palin will disappear entirely as she will no longer have the aura of a potential candidate in the next election.
The Romney cabal and media false prophets are working hard to make sure that what you wrote is what will happen as time goes on. Let’s hold off making more predictions for a while and see just what actually transpires in spite of all the strong opposition to SP.
The problem isn't the ledger entries, it's the size and scope of government.
As Walter E. Williams pointed out, in essence, EVERY budget is a balanced budget because the spending is paid for SOMEhow.
Either through taxation or borrowing money.
I still love Sarah Palin but she does have a little bit of a crush on big government.
In her book, "Going Rogue", she applauds Title IX funding because it allowed her to play basketball. Something to do with not enough girls wanting to play basketball in Alaska.
'Course, she doesn't reference the boys wrestling programs that were cut in states in which there WERE enough boys who wanted to participate, but, hey.
Disappointing, but not earth shattering.
Hatch will throw her under the bus the first chance he gets.

Well she endorsed McCain so why not Hatch? They both wanted to vote for total amnesty for all illegals when Dubya was in office. So conservative.
He is, sort of, but there has been a saying around for some time: "Don't count your Hatches before they chicken."

I saw the Greta segment, and I did think it was kind of odd that she would endorse Ted Cruz on the basis of needing "new blood", and then endorse Hatch. But do we have to get caught up in such emotionalism and throw her under the bus? We're never going to agree 100% with any politician.
Palin is apparently human and not always “rogue”.

Not everyone here has disdain for Hatch. I tend to think he can win re-election, and he is conservative. Not enough for some folks, because there is a crowd of folks that there will never be ANYONE conservative enough, and everyone is a RINO.Sarah knows what she is doing.
This doesn’t surprise me at all and I can’t believe it would surprise anyone. She did, after all, endorse Hatch’s fellow RINO John McCain.
I have disdain for anyone who stays in the Senate as long as Hatch. It’s time for him to get out and let some new blood in. You stay in DC long enough and you become DC. Hatch is buddies with the worst of the Senate, Democrats. Both Gov. Palin and you are wrong.
Which begs the question, what do they know that we don't.
Are they afraid Grahamnasty will take take the Judiciary Chairmanship should he loose?
Or is Orin like his buddy "Teddy" and wants to be their until he is granted a "State" Funeral and we do not know if their are health issues. Personally their is way more to life, it is a shame their addiction to power doesn't allow them to see when it is time to go....
Wrong! Joe Miller was leading greatly against Murkowski until his off-mike comment against the Palins which got leaked.
The Palins stepped back and said nothing more either way.
Then Miller dropped in the polls, lost the lead, and lost the election. Joe Miller did that all to himself.
A real conservative realizes that getting elected to Congress is not supposed to be a lifetime appointment, and that after couple of terms of public service, it's time to step down and let other conservative serve.
With that said, if Hatch loses the election, who takes over his leadership position on the Judiciary Committee?
I’m somewhat surprised that UT Orrin would want her support. People in UT will again disappoint us, I predict.
The specifics of the loss don’t matter. Miller was Palin’s boy and he didn’t win, in her backyard. She should have been able to drag a monkey to victory over Murkowski. If she backed a weak candidate, that was still her decision.
Joe Miller won the primary race 51% to 49% over Murkowski, the incumbent Republican senator, in great part due to the endorsement of Gov. Sarah Palin.
Murkowski then ran a "write-in" campaign as an Independent candidate in the general election, urging Democrats to join her write-in to defeat Miller, which more than half of the Democrat voters did.
Miller thumbed his nose at the support of Palin in the general election, and lost enough Republican voters because of that rejection of Palin, to lose to Murkowski's write-in campaign.
