If Democratic voters were rapidly increasing in number and Republican voters rapidly decreasing, it should be pretty big news, shouldnt it?
Not when at issue is a third rail of American social commentary: race.
Recently I wrote a piece on race and voting patterns, using as a lede the story about how white births now account for less than 50 percent of the U.S. total for the first time in history. And while most respondents agreed with my analysis, some reacted predictably: Uncomfortable even hearing about race and/or frightened by what lies ahead, they rationalized away obvious facts.
And here is one: You cannot understand where our nation is headed ideologically without grasping the link between racial identification and voting patterns and demographic changes that will yield Democratic hegemony.

This made me laugh, and when I proof it, I laugh again! This is funny in Engish AND Spanish!
I agree. How did the party of the KKK (the dims) be percieved as more minority-friendly than the party of Lincoln? We can change that perception

What started off as a good thing (caring for the environment) when taken to extremes (environazis) is bad.
the same thing with liberalism. I was watch Downton Abbey (a British serial about life ina county great house from 1912 to 1920) and in many ways the liberals at that time were correct -- asking for equal opportunities and preventing aristocracy from being utter despots -- but taken to extremes and you had communism.
A few things: Self-perpetuating minorities (I.e., those that actually raise kids in significant numbers) are the ones that are most likely to vote Republican and Conservative. Married with children Hispanics vote Republican, not Democrat.
Most women with kids are not married. They are married to Uncle Sam. They don’t need to get married, and the baby daddies don’t want to be.

Since the New Deal, the democrats have engaged in the politics of FREEBIES and populist/socialist attacks on ‘the rich’ to pay for it.
Anyone at the bottom end of the economic scale knows the score. “Obama’s getting me a new car!”
