I beleive there are MINOs, Mormons in name only. I can’t understand how any Mormon could be or vote for a democrat.

Reid is a temple mormon, only about 15% of lds reach that high level. He has received awards from BYU, for being a good example of what a mormon should be.

Yes, like with all religions that has to be true. I am not Mormon though there is a large Mormon community where I live and many at work. They have always been decent and pleasant people to be around, in my experience, though there are far more than you might think on the left side of the political spectrum - and often that is a "marriage of convenience" for them, helping them advance professionally.

They really aren't so different from any other group in that. It's hard at times to see how so many Catholics can be democrats too...or Jewish people as well. But logic and human beings often mixes in a very individual manner.
