If a cop doesn’t have enough self control to keep his speech on a professional level, he shouldn’t be a cop.

Hmmm...”of color”.That means reprimand and “retraining”.If he was white he would have been prosecuted.

Cops deal with some pretty rough people. Sometimes those people don’t always respond to “please” and “thank you.”

Frankly, I’d be a lot more worried if it was the punks talking to the cop this way....and him taking it.

Many sociopaths are attracted to law enforcement.

It's no surprise if you've ever been around angry cops when they think no cameras are rolling. Especially if they assume you're a criminal from the start. These days they can assume you are a criminal by the colors you wear, having too nice of a car for your age, having too much cash, the way you look at them, etc. In my younger days, I spent a good amount of time on some bad streets in Brooklyn. My friends and I were approached by cops fairly often.

I'm only surprised none of these guys in the story got wacked. People were hit for no reason in every such encounter I witnessed. Yes, a few times there were some seemingly good cops at the scene but none of them said a word about it.

Remember, if you are alone with them, cops can do anything they want and completely lie about everything later. “It's not what you know, it's what you can prove later.” Don't go whip out a copy of the constitution and start yelling if they do something obviously illegal. If you question their authority, they will likely hit you and make up some additional charges if they know they can get away with it. I knew a cop that carried a small snub-nose dropgun in a sock just in case he wanted to shoot someone. How far we have fallen...

I go back to the days when most of the cops were honest behaved Irish, Jewish, Italian and war vets. Wha Happened Brooklyn? I guess I should Forgetaboutit. And this was Bensonhurst? I thought the Mob made that place peaceful and “crime free” ?????

Whenever there’s a story involving police and i post about NYC cops there are always a bunch of posters waving a flag in my face. I am from NYC and still live here. I can tell you they are in it for themselves and truly believe they are the law and above it. Its a culture. I can’t think the bigger police forces around the country are much different.

We passed the Mendoza line a while back; about 75% are now just another street gang and it pains me to say so.

“Your pretty face — I like it very much. My [expletive] will go in your mouth and come out your ear. Don’t [expletive] with me. All right?”

Bathhouse Barry is planning a secluded beer summit with this stupidly acting cop.
