A lesbian couple who claimed they were victims of a hate crime have been arrested after police determined they staged the incidents.
On Oct. 28, Aimee Whitchurch, 37, and Christel Conklin, 29, called police and reported the words "Kill the Gay" were scrawled in red spray paint on the garage door of their Parker, Colo., home.
The next day, the couple told deputies they found a noose hanging on the handle of their front door.

Yep. When a member of a protected class is “victim” they bring in the Feds. Insane, right?
We have a couple of gay ladies in our neighborhood who routinely violate County leash laws and let their large dogs run all over everyone else's property, threatening small children and leaving piles. On top of that, they disturb the peace by loudly shouting for the dogs to come back.
One of the dogs is named Peter. They yell, "Peter, come! Come, Peter! PETER! COME! PETER! Come NOW!"

Kind of reminds me of an incident a few years back at one of the Claremont Colleges in So. Cal. A lesbian faculty member did significant damage to her car parked at the school. She claimed it was a hate crime. Later, she had to admit that she had severely damaged her own car in an attempt to portray herself as a hate crime victim.
I remember that. I’ll bet nothing happened to her. Did she even lose her job?

That's how it looks to me too. The "the" didn't quite fit. If the writer intended to write "kill the gay", he would have written "kill the", seen he didn't have room, then put "gay" underneath.
More importantly, a straight wouldn't have said that, he would have said "kill the dykes" or some such.
I know what you’re saying,but you’d think they would write the other words in smaller letters to make them fit.
After they wrote GAYS... and KILL... they just then noticed they were running out of space for THE I bet. I bet they had a debate on what to do about this. Make it smaller? non-capital letters? or something else.
That is what I think happened.
Interestingly sick as one would expect. This type of staged “attack” seems to occur with some frequency.

I’m sorry that is just too funny.
At this point they should automatically start the investigation with the complaintant; this nonsense is tiresome.
As long as those ridiculous “hate crime” laws are on the books, they should be charged with hate crimes as well (in this case, hatred of normal people).
The FBI is a political law enforcement group; they had one guy on their top ten most wanted list who had killed one person (because the “victim” was an abortionist).

I’m not familiar with that particular case, but I remember one where a minority student wrote something on her own locker. I don’t think anything was done to her; I believe the school just said something like her minoritiness made her do it (while she claimed that she wanted to focus attention on REAL racism with her fake racist incident).
What a subhuman; I’m sure it won’t go far in life.
