While the internet buzzed with Breitbart News’ release of a booklet from President Obama’s literary agency circa 1991 describing him as being “born in Kenya,” the mainstream media still refuses to report the story, or plays defense for Obama.
Never mind that the agency used the “born in Kenya” biography until 2007. Never mind that authors who have worked with the agency state that the agency asks that authors pen their own biographies. Never mind that Obama has routinely padded his biographical details to appeal to particular audiences.
Nothing to see here.
Michael Shear, at the New York Times, was in full defense mode:
“Perhaps the darker side of politics is always close to the surface … the conservative Drudge Report Web site published a headline: “BORN IN KENYA,” based on a three-decade-old promotional booklet for a publisher that included an inaccurate biography of Mr. Obama. It stayed on the site for much of the afternoon. The headline linked to a report at Breitbart news, another conservative site, which suggests that the booklet represents a pattern in which Obama — or the people representing and supporting him — manipulate his public persona.’”
We presented a document. The Times calls that “the darker side of politics.” Absurd. And that was the Times’ only coverage of the story – dismissing Obama’s pattern of biographical manipulation without comment. All the news that’s not fit to print.
How about the Washington Post, the paper that assured us that Mitt Romney’s 50-year-old haircut incidents were news? It trotted out leftist stalwarts and Friends of Media Matters Greg Sargent and Erik Wemple to cover for Obama and his literary agency. Sargent scoffed, “rumor has it the whitey tape will break any minute now.” Wemple’s only comment: “Okay.”
Well, okay, then.

The MSM will try to fold this story into the “crazy birfer” meme. We need to keep this separate and focus on Barry the Liar.
Obama is free to release his Alien Registration file with The US Dept of Homeland Security to clear this up.

No one expected Barry Soetoro to run for POTUS the moment he became a US Senator in January 2007, so give the guy a break - there just wasn’t any time to clean up all these messes before trying to rule the World.
Or his naturalization papers if he was born in Kenya. Whoops, that won't work either.

Breitbart and the rest of the so-called conservative media helped create the “crazy birfer” meme. Actually, they were the more effective group.

Additionally, I bet Breitbart.com just freakin’ loved the traffic they got yesterday. Like a junkie, they will be looking for a fix like that again. Maybe that will get them over their reticence to deal with the fraud head-on for once.
When he amended his HI BC to complete it in late 2006 (just as he was deciding to run for the presidency) he thought he had the bases covered. He didn’t realize that the amendment would have to be noted on the face of his original BC as well as any abbreviated BC’s that were issued. And he didn’t realize that there would be an L (for “late) in front of the BC# because the BC wasn’t complete until 45+ years after he was born...
In all this narrative about Obama “lying about being born in Kenya”, nobody in the media is bringing up the fact that Arpaio’s posse found probable cause for forgery of Obama’s long-form BC - the one that he presented with great fanfare in a press conference at the White House. They can poo-pooh a literary advertisement that is 21 years old, but they refuse to deal with a forged vital record presented from the White House one year ago.
It still feels like I’m living in an alternate reality sometimes. I hope to wake up and be back in the Shire rather than fighting the Uruk-hai in Mordor.
There was something I read way before Obama became a Senator that the intention was he would one day run for POTUS. They were planting the seed. The fix was/is in. And for damn sure he isn’t going to get a break from me.

Probably lying about both. LOL. I have always wondered about the Frank Marshall Davis angle since he is the most likely person who took the nude photos. Bathhouse Barry could very well have been born in Canada and even be Kenyan!

I'm not a mathematician, but 1991-2012 is only two decades, right? Not to mention, the article says the "booklet" continued to be used until 2007, only half a decade ago. I ain't buying the story that the editor made a mistake and it just slipped past everybody all this time. Slimey, slimey, slimey!

I agree with what you are saying - we are in an Alternate reality and we are going to have to fight to get our country back. This isn’t going to be resolved peacefully, I am afraid. Of course the long-form BC is a forgery. No one puts African down as anyone’s nationality. That’s a continent, for heaven’s sake. Barry is surrounded by moronic idealogues who really don’t give a rat’s patoot what we think. We are dying by a thousand marxist cuts. I am a Christian, too, and this country will not survive under multi-cultural rule. That is the game plan, however, unless we throw out all the bums and start over (including the 95% RINOs in Congress).
It feels like some kind of cosmic test crossed with a role playing video game and how we handle this situation determines what comes next.
Time to pull out the "Say your prayers" secret weapon b/c we aren't going to do well in the storm that's coming if we get it wrong.
Barry is listed as a current client of the agent. She has financial incentive to cover this up. This has been going on while he was POTUS. This is not an “old” story if he is a current client of the agent. What payments have been made to her while he was POTUS? Why? Etc., etc.
