Levin is livid over the fact that Romney repudiated anything to do with bringing up Rev. Wright in this campaign even though in the primaries he went full throttle against Newt Gingrich, even with false attack ads:

At any rate, you should keep in mind the Ninth of the Ten commandments which says, "Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor."
In as much as Romney breaks this commandment left and right, it is no surprise that his supporters follow in his footsteps, and even wear the same size shoes.
There’s no doubt that Newt was feisty and confrontive, but he didn’t win the nomination.
He didn’t come close and now he’s too onery to endorse the nominee.
I liked him but there are a bunch of good reasons why he didn’t win and putting him on a pedestal now is foolish.

I have zero issues with your 4 points and agree with them. If Romney followed exactly what you are saying will make you happy, and make me delirious. However now we are in a general election mode. If Romney is going to win in November, he MUST convince the so called mushy center why he is more presidential than the dirty trickster from Chicago.
Elections are usually won on economic issues. Unless the economy suddenly improves in next 4-5 months, Obama is already toast. The trend of last 6-8 weeks clearly shows economy is going in the wrong direction. That includes jobs, home prices, grocery prices, budget deficits. No dirty tricks needed to defeat him. My instinct is pound economic issues relentlessly against Obama’s record to solidify his defeat, and stay away from non-economic issues.
Its difficult to hold his feet to the fire, when you're busy grabbing your own ankles.

The day I heard McPainful throw his support to Romney, that did it for me. Romney should have said, “thanks, BUT NO THANKS”! He’s pretty much blew his chances of seeing many tea party people come around. I absolutely loathe the smugness of Arizona Johnnie!
Romney will take your vote, but he will do nothing to earn it. Why would he, when all the ABO’s will vote for him no matter how much he kicks them in the teeth.
