Obamas aides freak over possible Rev. Wright-themed attack ads By Neil Munro - The Daily Caller 9:28 AM 05/17/2012
Top Democratic strategists have reacted quickly to stop a proposed $10 million advertising campaign that would highlight the relationship between President Barack Obama and his old Chicago pastor, Rev. Jeremiah Wright.
Plans for the potential ad campaign were revealed this morning by the New York Times.
Stunning! Will Mitt stand up, as [Sen.] John McCain did? Or allow the purveyors of slime to operate on his behalf? claimed a 5.42 a.m. tweet from David Axelrod, the senior strategic at Obamas campaign headquarters in Chicago.
The proposed advertising is a hateful campaign being planned by GOP super PACs, claimed Bill Burton, who runs a Democratic super PAC political action committee, dubbed Priorities USA Action, that is itself designed to run negative ads against Gov. Mitt Romney.
The Wright-focused advertising campaign is being designed by campaign ad guru Fred Davis, and was commissioned by Joe Ricketts, who founded the brokerage firm TD Ameritrade, according to the May 17 article in the New York Times.
The world is about to see Jeremiah Wright and understand his influence on Barack Obama for the first time in a big, attention-arresting way, says the proposal, according to the Times.
Burtons tweet came at 5.58 a.m. some 16 minutes after the alert from Axelrod, who has worked in Chicago politics for decades.
At 9.05 a.m., Brad Woodhouse, the spokesman for the Democratic National Committee, joined the hue and cry. Unbelievable @MittRomney cant do more on this Ricketts slime story than say he hasnt read the story, he said in reaction to a Washington Post report that Romney declined to comment.

Hannity played an audio of this moron complaining that people come up to him in airports and scream at him because of his little attack on our beloved nation. He was really whining about it! What a putz...
It’ll be done by a Romney supporting superpac that Romney doesn’t control so that he has plausible deniability.
Fair enough. I just didn't see any mention in your comments on Black Liberation Theology of it being a communist-concocted, phony-baloney church movement. Then again, there was no mention that I noticed in the posted article either, at least not in the excerpt above.
Good strategy. Take a truthful, devastating story about your candidate, break the news first then blame the monsters from your opponent that report the accurate story.
Wright actually made an a** of Hannity during his 2007 interview on Hannity & Colmes. Hannity didn't know squat about it at the time, other than that it was racist. He still barely talks about the communist angle of it. People like Hannity often do more harm than good with their inexcusable ignorance in these areas. What sort of a research staff does he have? A bunch of 20-year-old know-nothing college kids?
"Black theology will accept only the love of God which participates in the destruction of the white enemy. What we need is the divine love as expressed in Black Power, which is the power of black people to destroy their oppressors here and now by any means at their disposal".--James (Jim) Cone,

SEAN HANNITY: But Reverend Jeremiah Wright is not backing down and has not for years and in his strong stance on the teaching of black liberation theology is nothing new. He had the same things to say last spring when he appeared on "Hannity & Colmes:"
WRIGHT: If you're not going to talk about theology in context, if you're not going to talk about liberation theology that came out of the '60s, systematized black liberation theology that started with Jim Cone in 1968 and the writings of Cone and the writings of Dwight Hopkins and the writings of womynist theologians and Asian theologians and Hispanic theologians, then you can't talk about the black value system.
HANNITY: But I'm a reverend
WRIGHT: Do you know liberation theology, sir?

Catholics for Marx [Liberation Theology]
By Fr. Robert Sirico
FrontPageMagazine.com | Thursday, June 03, 2004
In the days when the Superpowers were locked in a Cold War, Latin America seethed with revolution, and millions lived behind an iron curtain, a group of theologians concocted a novel idea within the history of Christianity. They proposed to combine the teachings of Jesus with the teachings of Marx as a way of justifying violent revolution to overthrow the economics of capitalism.
The Gospels were re-rendered not as doctrine impacting on the human soul but rather as windows into the historical dialectic of class struggle. These "liberation theologians" saw every biblical criticism of the rich as a mandate to expropriate the expropriating owners of capital, and every expression of compassion for the poor as a call for an uprising by the proletarian class of peasants and workers.

McCain didn't stand up, he rolled over.
But what really should wake people up, is that Obama is actually well to the Left of Rev. Wright. Rev. Wright may not like White people, but he does at least believe in urging his congregants to take personal responsibility. Not so, Obama. (Race & Ethnic Politics--2008.)
Whether the far Left likes the point, or not: We need to make sure that every American understands just how inappropriate has been Obama's "preparation" for public office--any public office!
William Flax
This from one of the leading 'purveyors of slime' currently operating in American politics.
Once again, the corrupt & arrogant hypocrisy of the left knows no bounds.
So let me get this straight... It's "hateful" to publicize one's political opponents' multi-decade long association with a "preacher" who spouts "hate-speech?"
I guess it's "hateful" to point out "hate."
Mark
The book basically has WRight throwing OBama under the bus. I’m told Klein will be on Hannity tonight.
I’m wondered if this the rope a dope...Maybe not concocted by Obama, but by those around him who now realize THAT HE WILL NEVER GET ELECTED.
So, let’s discredit the guy to the point that he will not run, and then they’ll get someone else in there.
The book basically says that there are alot of pissed off people out there from Oprah to Wright to many high rolling Jews who supported OBama who ended up getting ignored by the guy.
But more important is the fact that they guy surrounded himself with idiots.
We’re on the same page with this Black Lib Theo. Wright actually is a very articulate fellow. I sense that he is first and foremost a true Christian in the sense that he believes in Jesus, but from that point on things get pretty distorted and tainted by materialistic realities.
The man ain’t poor. He is not a living Jesus or Ghandi. You know, that’s what this world needs. Someone truly rich in the spirit, though poor in material things. Has our generation had a Ghandi? Money is power, but so is the word.
The time is truly ripe for Jesus.
He was on last night.....part two?
With all this flak they must be over the target. Bombs away.
What I really suspect is a type of public blackmail purposed to stop Obama and Co. from discussing Mitt’s religion. A quid pro quo of MAD. That said, does anyone ever trust a liberal?
God who knows anymore... I’m just a poor country doctor...who tuned his tv off three months ago and who is happy as a clam.... a real clam....
You don't understand what Black Liberation Theology is, do you? Sure, most of its followers truly believe in Jesus, but not the guys at the pulpit and others running the show. The followers are being used and manipulated by the communists.
True...
