Don't bet on Mitt Romney winning his home state of Massachusetts. Or even trying.
Romney was never a hero in the liberal bastion, and aides say there are other ways he can win the White House without the 11 electoral votes the state offers.

Ive come to the conclusion this election has NOTHING to do with Romney and EVERYTHING to do with OBAMA and the medias portrayal of him. The media has so much power and that middle 10% that decides elections will think exactly what they are told to think.
Yeah, but it was voter fraud. The Palm Beach County butterfly ballot originally had Gore across from Bush until the Dems complained it would easier to find Gore below Bush so a last-minute change was made.
Unfortunately, the vote fraud effort had already begun so about 1,000 votes went to Buchanan (the Reform Party nominee) who got the spot where Gore's name originally existed.
That's why the DNC found grannies to come forward *before the polls had closed* to complain that they were confused and why the DNC has a "get out the vote" telemarketing team contact Palm Beach Democrats and urge them to join a rally to recount the votes.
The lies have drowned out the truth about this over the years so it occasionally needs retelling.
Oh, and as for spending money in MA. I agree it is a waste. If Romney wins Massachusetts, he has already won the election.
Romney understands that you can’t fix stupid so why waste your time.
Say what? I didn't realize Mitt was a Justice on the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court?
Romney was their 4th Republican Governor in a row, but he could not win reelection and crawled away with 34% approval, a weakened state party, and the Democrats have had the seat ever since.
They voted Mitt and got homosexual marriage, and gun bans.
I love running into people who don’t know the truth about Mitt and the Massachusetts court ruling. It gives me a chance to present the truth to them. So they can see more than what Mitt wants them to see.
I can tell by your post you haven’t read the Mass Supreme Court decision have you? But I have. The Mass. Supreme Court did not tell the governor to do one single thing. It did not change the law in Massachusetts. In fact, as part of their ruling, they even state that according to the Mass Constitution, the Court is not allowed to change the law.
What the ruling did say is that the Court would be sending the case back down to a lower court for their ruling but they wanted to give the legislature 180 days to make any changes to the law first.
Well the 180 days came and went but the legislature did not change the law. However Mitt Romney on his own, without any prompting from court or legislature decided he would step in and grant gay marriage to the homosexuals in Massachusetts. He did this not by changing the law as required, but by ordering the Justices of the peace and clerks to marry gays or they would be fired.
No matter what Mitt and his apologists say, that is the truth of what happened. Mitt gave the gays what they wanted. He kept his promise to them that he would do more for them than Ted Kennedy.

If you honestly did not know the truth, now you do.
If he wins the national popular vote, he’ll win Mass. anyway.
