If people don’t go to church or read their Bibles or are taught by their parents that homosexuality is sinful, how would they know? Schools and media portray homosexuality as perfectly normal and healthy and a choice, so why would they not accept it?

Hopefully, the Dems will make gay marriage part of the 2012 party platform along with repeal of DOMA.

I hope so too because every time it’s been voted on the Gay Marriage advocates lose.

Poll could be somewhat correct. Polls are different than voting. Some of it is due to the fact younger people/independents etc who poll "yes" for it don't vote and people who vote "against" are generally older and more conservative. People get more conservative as they get older or realize they are being fleeced by the gov't whichever comes first.
I'm in my mid 20's and most people my age have no problem with gay marriage-they grew up with "acceptance" thrown at them..but they don't vote. Don't attack me I'm just giving facts.

Indiana Democrats, including the State PArty, are all running as far away from this as they can, as fast as they can.
The State Party leader today said “It’s not part of our Platform.”

Fortunately, “American Adults” don’t vote. Registered Voters don’t vote either. “Likely Voters” are the ones doing the voting and that’s what counts.
Polling public opinion is nice. But for issues decided at the ballot box the information you get is misleading at best and actually worthless.
To: tobyhill
When will polls ask whether the respondents know the rates of disease, violence, sex abuse, psychological breakdowns, and suicide among “gays?”
To: InterceptPoint
These polling companies are getting paid by the Rats to pump out the fake numbers because they know Obama stepped in it big time so it's up to them to mislead as fast as they can before the elections.

I hope so too because every time its been voted on the Gay Marriage advocates lose. There is a huge difference between what people will say to a pollster to avoid appearing intolerant and what they will do in the privacy of a voting booth. (The Dems and gay activists just don't seem to be capable of understanding that simple concept. You'd think that they'd be very familiar with the idea of deceit.)

It wouldnt surprise me, ask yourself who on the national level is arguing that it’s immoral? FNC is very sympathetic to gays.
It seems like the other side is the only side fighting on this.

It's likely that many who are saying homosexuality is OK are saying it just because they don't want to appear different from majority opinion.
These are not committed opinions. They will change quickly as soon as an anti-gay marriage President is elected.
