For more than half a century, the Kennedys were a force in U.S. politics. Their dominance began with John F. Kennedys 1960 presidential run and lasted until the death of Senator Edward M. Kennedy in 2009.
The familys return as a major political presence is not imminent, but it may not be that far off. A candidate for a Massachusetts seat in the U.S. House of Representatives is Joseph P. Kennedy III, a grandson of Robert F. Kennedy and a grandnephew of the president and the senator. He is running in a congressional district now largely represented by Representative Barney Frank, a Democrat who is retiring.

He’s going to clandestinely dump poop, from his sailboat?
Never say never, Bill may have a few Clintons running about.
When prohibition ended, there were only two options left for the Kennedy family. NASCAR or politics and Teddy showed us that they can’t drive.
The Kennedys were a t*rd in American politics, not a force.
Or perhaps we could also say they were a farce, not a force.
Shove it up your collective, septic smelly Obamas, NYT.
Name a Kennedy that actually achieved anything without corruption, liquor, and a compliant law enforcement sector willing to look the other way whilst they raped whatever unfortunate female happened to be around.
There's no telling what their offspring will turn out to be...
And example of the leftist desire to institute an aristocracy to replace our Republic.
I guess he is another Kennedy that can’t find a job so he might as well get into politics....
I knew this country was in trouble when I witnessed the incessant fawning over Jack and Jacki-O and the mindless bedazzlement over “Camelot”, a phenomenon as mediocre as the musical.
Voting for a Kennedy is a lifestyle or fasion statement, not an expression of a policy preference.
Shawn Beilat was competive against Bwaney Fwanck in 2010, maybe he can overcome the Kennedy “aura” in 2012. Massachussets, especially the 4th CD, is no longer a blue collar, lunch bucket constituency. There are upper middle class suburbs and pockets of third world immigrant hellholes (Uncle Omar), but few landscapers or painters and virtually no factory workers anymore.
I don't know if I should throw in murdering a teenage girl with a golf club, because his last name wasn't Kennedy.
Is Chelsea still with her husband?
Any stories about her in the media talk about her only, with no mention of her husband or married life.
The tabloids said her husband went off on his own a while back. Not that they were divorcing or going that way, but, just that he needed his space, or some such story.
I just wonder what type of marriage they have, or if having children is something that will ever happen with them.
There is definitely something mentally off balance with these people.
The Kennedys: can’t drive, can’t fly, can’t ski, can’t skipper a Navy craft, but they know what’s best for us.
“Never say never, Bill may have a few Clintons running about.”
He does. He had a Kenyan type bastard with a black woman. When he became president, mother and child were shipped off to Australia or somewhere like that.
I’ve said this before: The Kennedys are like the Bonapartes; just because one member of the family was talented, they think they’re all entitled to rule.
Is this the kid with the carefully-placed curly-cue lock of hair on his forehead?
I think I read here that he’s just another liberal scumbag.
