I have heard it said that it began with “Three’s Company” which first aired in 1976. The John Ritter character, although not gay in fact, pretended he was so as to be able to share the apartment with the two women. I rarely watched the show, so I couldn’t tell you too much about it. This was 36 years ago!

If you formed your opinion only from TV shows like that, you’d surmise that about 25-40% of the population is gay.

No kidding! These types of shows were my last refuge!

More like how the tv/movie industry shoots itself in the foot again.

Remember way back when, when the entire family could sit down and watch a show or go to a movie together and it contained humor/entertainment for all ages?

On Sunday nights, my dad would move the big tv set around so we could watch “Wonderful world of disney” during dinner.

That was back before Disney corp went they way they have gone.

“Homosexuals are homophobes. They insist on being called “gay” instead.”

I remember in the early 80’s Andrew Dice Clay said “I call them C***suckers, cause that’s what they do! They walk around for a week with $h— on their D**** then the wonder why they got AIDS”

Seinfeld—”Not that there’s anything wrong with that!” Friends— The mother of Ross’s child leaves him for a woman.
It really started in the 60s, when there were people on tv who were not openly gay, but were definitely “flamboyant.” I think of Alan Sues on Laugh-In, Charles Nelson Reilly, Paul Lynde, Jonathan Harris on “Lost In Space,” and others. In the 80s there was Jim J Bullock on “Too Close For Comfort,” and it has gone downhill from there. I’m sure that I’m missing some, but those are the ones I remember. Heck, even Gilligan may have been a little light in the loafers, as he constantly spurned Ginger’s advances. Robert Reed was a surprise.

In Glee right now there are literally 6 Gay characters. Curt, Blaine, The bad gay that wants to break them up, Santana, Brittney, and the jock that kiss-attacked Curt and made him cry. Every single episode is exactly the same dialog, just repeated by a different homosexual kid. I “watch” it on Hulu where I can skip to the music. I love a good mash-up. Shame they don't even do that great.

“I wouldn’t say 15 years. The garbage on today was not on when I was growing up. We had our own garbage, but it wasn’t this bad. I don’t recall any gay agenda on the more successful shows like Seinfeld or Friends... though definitely some metrosexual pimping.”

It started with Three’s Company.

TV hasn’t changed since Zappa wrote that in the ‘70s.

I’ve always regretted that he passed away in 1993. So much has taken place since then that would have been precisely and eloquently skewered by his lyrical genius.

The gay mafia targeted the entertainment industry for this very reason....now they dominate it to the point where if you want to work anywhere in the industry you’d better toe the Party Line.

And don’t think that there isn’t a casting couch for guys.

Communist goal #26: “Present homosexuality and promiscuity as normal and natural...”

Senator McCarthy was absolutely right. Hollywood was (and is) filled with marxist/socialists intent on destroying America.

And now they’ve got their own man in the White House.

I’d say it started with Liberace and Paul Lynde. Innocuous enough back then, but everybody knew what they were.

Zappa’s main target was Conservatism, I hate to say. He was a leftist with some libertarian leanings.

There’s probably billions $ to be made on good quality TV and movies, but I honestly think Hollyweird would rather push its agenda than make a buck. How else can one explain the shows that get made these days?

Within the next 5 years, we will see a fictional character in one of these sh*t-coms or night time dramas who is a pedophile, however they will be portrayed sympathetically.

A sit com based on the Penn State Athletic department. It will be called "Rhythmic Slapping"

My 7 yr old nephew turned me on to Phineas and Ferb last summer and it is one of my favorite shows in the Tri State Area!
Has anyone seen Perry?
