Looks like things are warming up in South East Asia and i believe the Chinese are itching to flex their muscles to show the other nations in the region who is the boss.

Guess they will be carrying their long range missles with them as they probably wouldn’t make the trip otherwise.

Good thing the Phillipine left got the Americans out of their bases there. Because after all, it’s those imperialistic Americans who are the real bad guys.../s

I am fine with it as long as the chinese only take out the far south west part of the phillipeans....
Then they should leave....
It would solve a lot of the problems the Phillipeans have with the ROPers.

China is seeing if it can push the Philippines around without blow-back. Something like events in the late 1930’s. If they get no push-back, then they will pick a fight with Taiwan next.

Okay, anyone who thinks this would have been a threat under Bush I&II raise their hands.
The worlds is not stupid. When Obambi did his "apology tour" and bowed to everyone but the Queen of England, did not us political junkies not see this coming? Sheesh, even Bill Clinton understood that right is might, even if his b*tch wife didn't.
As political as our upper brass military is, I would bet a $1000 dollars that the majority have palm to face. They may have political aspirations, but I believe they want USA defense.

Supposing China takes over the Philipines. On the plus side, I don’t think the Chicoms would be quite so sanguine about the local El Qaeda franchise decapitating communist officials as the Philipino government has been about them decapitating Catholic priests.

Hey China! Vietnam has been saying that you couldn’t beat a drum! They say that you’re all mouth and no muscle! They’re claiming they kicked your behinds back home the last time you messed with them! Are you going to let them get away with that kind of talk?
