Bristol Palin thinks its laughable that President Barack Obamas children influenced his decision to support same-sex marriage.
While its great to listen to your kids ideas, theres also a time when dads simply need to be dads, Bristol, the eldest daughter of former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, wrote in a blog post titled Hail to the Chiefs Malia and Sasha Obama on Thursday.
Obama said on Wednesday that his daughers' acceptance of friends with same-sex parents helped prompt his "change in perspective." In response, Palin writes:
In this case, it wouldve been helpful for him to explain to Malia and Sasha that while her friends parents are no doubt lovely people, thats not a reason to change thousands of years of thinking about marriage. Or that as great as her friends may be we know that in general kids do better growing up in a mother/father home. Ideally, fathers help shape their kids worldview.
In this situation, it was the other way around. I guess we can be glad that Malia and Sasha arent younger, or perhaps todays press conference might have been about appointing Dora the Explorer as Attorney General because of her success in stopping Swiper the Fox.
Sometimes dads should lead their family in the right ways of thinking. In this case, it wouldve been nice if the President wouldve been an actual leader and helped shape their thoughts instead of merely reflecting what many teenagers think after one too many episodes of Glee.

ROFLMAO !!!
Obama the failed father.
Go Bristol!
Heh. It has to be a bit depressing to learn that Bristol Palin would be a better father than you.
SnakeDoc
“Obama the failed father.”
Back to your grass hut, savage!
Leave our Western civilization alone.
....will Malia and Sasha be attending tomorrows $40,000 per plate dinner in Hollywood?....
Damm girl! This one is going to sting. I fully expect obama’s sycophant prostitute media to go ape sh** over this and call her things that none of us could ever get away with as conservatives.. Or real Americans.. Not the domestic terrorist media... Being hypocrates is something to be proud of to them
But again, go Bristol go!
seems like the old recycled plot where the kids are the one’s with the wisdom, and in the end, the well intentioned but misinformed parents are brought over to the kid’s side of reason.
I think people in general watch too much 'Glee'. Just sayin'.
Kephale. It’s an age-old concept.
Those Palin women are tough cookies.
Democrats look to their children to explain a world that is too complex for grownup Liberals to understand.
Too bad Bristol forgot to mention Amy Carter’s nuclear disarmament proposals to her father. Of course, Jimmy didn’t ACTUALLY put that policy change into place . . .
Obama set to blame his daughters for his gay marriage gaff
“I think people in general watch too much ‘Glee’. Just sayin’.”
I don’t even know what Glee is. It’s not good, right?
that is unnecessary commenting.
Obama, by stating he is taking advise from children is demonstrating he has failed as a father. He is paroting the hippie/be a pal/no waves 1960’s nonsence.
He just endorsed a behavior that is ONLY about recreational sex based on the input of his CHILDREN. The association to the recomendation is inheritly vile.
I doubt very much he is advising his children to recreatate or experiment on that issue. Nobody in the MSM is calling him out on the absurdity of the obviously fake anecdote.
They'll get savaged for the comment, but Bristol is right.
Well said, Bristol.
SMACKdown!!!
Well played, Miss Palin.
AWESOME!!!
