Bristol Palin thinks its laughable that President Barack Obamas children influenced his decision to support same-sex marriage.
While its great to listen to your kids ideas, theres also a time when dads simply need to be dads, Bristol, the eldest daughter of former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, wrote in a blog post titled Hail to the Chiefs Malia and Sasha Obama on Thursday.
Obama said on Wednesday that his daughers' acceptance of friends with same-sex parents helped prompt his "change in perspective." In response, Palin writes:
In this case, it wouldve been helpful for him to explain to Malia and Sasha that while her friends parents are no doubt lovely people, thats not a reason to change thousands of years of thinking about marriage. Or that as great as her friends may be we know that in general kids do better growing up in a mother/father home. Ideally, fathers help shape their kids worldview.
In this situation, it was the other way around. I guess we can be glad that Malia and Sasha arent younger, or perhaps todays press conference might have been about appointing Dora the Explorer as Attorney General because of her success in stopping Swiper the Fox.
Sometimes dads should lead their family in the right ways of thinking. In this case, it wouldve been nice if the President wouldve been an actual leader and helped shape their thoughts instead of merely reflecting what many teenagers think after one too many episodes of Glee.
You don't know how lucky you are.
LOL. I really like the skewering Bristol has been doing lately. Who knows, she might have a future in this kind of thing.
Dora would be a massive upgrade at DOJ
Would be better than
I believe Obama is an atheist. Or, if he believes in any god, it’s himself.
Bristol, a chip off the old block. Brilliant writing Bristol. go go go
>>>I dont even know what Glee is. Its not good, right?
Be happy you don’t. gay pandering & propaganda aside, It’s a show with 20-somethings pretending to be teenagers, doing vocal covers of 80’s songs, and ruining them.
I think she has hit upon something really important here. This looking to the youngsters for leadership rather than instructing them is really at the heart of almost ALL of the cultural decline we see. When it does not come directly from the kids, the Liberals implant it in them at school and then send them home to shame and nag their parents.
That depraved fag-fest has been banned in my house from day one.
Good answer. I was also struck by the fact that in ignorance I thought parents who would take the opportunity to send their children to a Quaker school would expect more from exposure at that school than their daughters being being grossly influenced by some students gay parents. This is exactly why God never envisioned gay couples being moral. Is it so hard for some people to accept God’s Plan of creation as He designed it that they have to resort to such extreme escapism as homosexuality?
Yep. Do not forget the rage they went into over Rush’s comment on Sandra Fluke. Watch close, because the Left’s comments on this will make his look like child’s play. We need to be ready to hang ‘em high over their comments about Bristol.
I believe that was called Danny Thomas syndrome ;)
HA! Good for you Bristol.
Savaging already happening in the comments section at Bristol’s blog.
Good point. Mothers and fathers have the vocation of teaching their children, and should not hesitate to correct their childrens' errors ... particularly when those errors have been deliberately introduced by malicious adults.
Waiting to comment on this until I see who her first lesbian date is. Not all those gals are nice people!
You don’t know that.
Glee should have been canned after the first or second season.
Has anybody ever glimpsed at that show on TVLand, “Happily Divorced”? It’ll make your skin crawl. They even had Rosey O’Donuts on last night. I could hit my remote fast enough after “Everybody Loves Raymond” reruns.
