Much as I hate to admit it, there was one interesting idea from the 1981 movie “My Dinner With Andre”: the notion of just sitting down and spending two hours listening to an interesting conversation at a nearby dinner table.

Well, dinner may not have been served, but the mostly-unplanned conversation between Adam Carolla and Dennis Prager was delightfully entertaining for the mostly-sold-out crowd Saturday night in San Diego’s Spreckels Theatre.

Sorry hosepipe, I could not disagree more. Carolla is the libertarian voice of the successful middle age white guy. Not only does he make me laugh on a daily basis, I agree with about 90% of his stances. There are very few politicians that I can say that about.

He's actually quite logical and brilliant about it.

Look up his rant on the Occutards, for example.

I’ve never seen the flick, but when people put down a Steven Seagal movie, I want to ask them if their favorite movie is “...Andre”. Because there is something worse than a bad Seagal flick. If people ask me how I can say a movie I’ve never seen is an awful movie, I just ask them what is the movie about. When they say it’s about two liberal New Yorkers talking about their lives, I just say case closed.

Maybe not so odd. Carolla did a show with Drew Pinsky.

Maybe straightman DP2 is straightman DP1 ten years later and ten years older.
