Is this true? Huffpo has the list of 39 advertisers who left. I also just added a lot more businesses to my boycott list. No surprise with JCP with their recent gay/lesbian ads.

The advertisers who left got hit harder.
The OWS spammers don't actually purchase anything, they just complain.

This is what we call here in Tennessee-bovine scatology. There has to be more to this story. I dunno. Rush has so many new advertisers/sponsers now. Yawn. Whatever. Sounds like some lib trying to make himself feel better.

Cumulus? They are the ones carrying Huckabee’s station on many channel’s so they can save money and not have to pay Premiere for Rush.

This is a phoney hit on Rush by Cumulus. They are still trying to pimp that loser Huckabee as a Rush alternative, on their other stations, in his time slot. The only reason that they even have Rush on at all is that he is so profitable they can’t afford to lose him in some markets.
BTW, why didn’t anyone ask this guy about where the other 2.5% loss went in their 3.5% drop in revenue at Cumulus?

I do notice that Sheri’s Berries is advertising hard on all of the Conservative talk shows other than Rush. (Rush refused to take them back).
Hannity, Quinn and Rose, all the Salem Hosts, all pushing Sheri’s Berries hard and often.
Frankly I wish they would have all refused as well. If Conservative talk show hosts don’t hang together, they will most assuredly hang separately.

I don’t understand.
Did they lose money because the customer rebelled on Rush?
Or did they lose money because of less advertising?

Rush puts a brave face on this but here in the NYC metro area, I'm hearing quite a few PSAs on WABC.

What? Rush’s show didn’t miss a minute of ad time. Local markets may have lost paid slots because they didn’t have time to sell new ads. But something filled the spot. It didn’t sit idle.
Blow your smoke somewhere else.

VERY few talk radio hosts have the clout to tell the radio network who to take in advertising, and certainly not because they pulled from a competitor. (They might have more say on disallowing ads for strip clubs, etc.)

Good point about Huckabee. Too bad Rush can’t drop Cumulus.

That’s WABC’s doing - not Rush.

This is a minuscule story in comparison to the MSM losses in circulation, millions in subscription revenue, tens of millions in ad revenue, millions audience in share, hundreds of layoffs including higher management.
They'd all trade places with Cumulus or Rush in an instant.
Rush just might take a day off in the near future and visit their grave sites, smoke a cigar and......

So lets see if I have this right. Couple million first quarter, couple million from second quarter? Lets round that to 5 million.
That represents the 3.5% drop .... and they blame 1% of that drop due to rush. So 1% of 5 million equals a GRAND TOTAL of [gasp] $50,000.
Did I do my math right? Cause $50K seems to me to be a paultry outcome for a boycott.
