The story of the women in Tex that was to fly out of a small airport. A business women, she needed to get to a meeting. The TSA officers knew her but there was not a women TSA on call. Yes, it was. East Moriches, NY (Long Island). I had a couple of business friends who were outside, not more than 15 miles away that evening, and saw it happen. But the FBI field interviews went nowhere, after all the paperwork, pics, sketches etc were “classified”, er *sanitized*.

We have a doctors letter for our type 1 son when we travel.
But have never needed it; the TSA folks have always been ok to deal with on the pump and insulin issue.

A Colorado teen is upset with screeners at Salt Lake City International Airport. The type one diabetic says TSA agents were abrupt, rude and were responsible for breaking her $10,000 insulin pump. A pump she has to have to survive.

Besides, 16 years of life is plenty.
