Romney Taking Credit for Auto Industry Success

Campaigning in the backyard of America's auto industry, Mitt Romney re-ignited the bailout debate by suggesting he deserves "a lot of credit" for the recent successes of the nation's largest car companies.

That claims comes in spite of his stance that Detroit should have been allowed to go bankrupt.

The presumptive Republican presidential nominee told a Cleveland television station on Monday that President Barack Obama followed his lead when he ushered auto companies through a managed bankruptcy soon after taking office.

>>Nothing can entice me to support a socialist.<<

No one said to “support” anyone, just to vote for the only guy who can get BO out of office.

>>I plan on working overtime to make sure that we get good conservatives like Mourdock and Smith elected. That’s our only chance at reining in whichever socialist wins the presidency.<<

LOL! Why would a second term get BO to listen to ANYONE in congress. He ignored them in his first term when he had something to lose. Now with no election looming in his future, he will slash and burn everything.

What makes you think there will even BE conservatives if he wins?

Voting for Romney is akin to spitting in the face of God.

God just did a Danny Thomas spit-take at the absurdity of your comment.

I won’t vote for Romney because cognitive dissonance doesn’t sit well with me. I leave that broken logic to the people in the “pro-choice” movement who claim to oppose abortion but vote for it anyway.

What makes YOU think there will even be conservatives if Romney wins? Do you think Boehner and McConnell will suddenly start listening to us when they’ve already thrown us under the bus with a sitting socialist in the White House? Do you think Romney will listen to us when his political and campaign records say otherwise?

My point is that conservatives are in the for the fight of a lifetime regardless of who wins the presidency. It’s lunacy to suggest otherwise. Our best, albeit slim chance for survival will come from conservative representatives, not a socialist president. That’s where our focus should be.

Are you saying that you can not focus on two things at once?

That may be, but American is gone if BO makes it in.
Jihadis, and Communists are in the White House RIGHT now.

Unless you ditch BO, you lose our country.

No, I’m saying that one of these things isn’t worth focusing on.

Everybody knows Obama is bad news. Which makes more sense: using that knowledge to prop up a socialist OR doing what we did in 2010 and tying Obama’s record to vulnerable Democrats so that more constitutional conservatives get elected?

Every minute you spend talking up Romney is a minute you could be using to promote a conservative. Every dollar you spend on Romney is a dollar that could go to a worthy conservative like Scott Walker.

Neither Romney nor Obama will do a thing to advance conservatism, so it doesn’t make sense to dedicate any resources to either of them. Wasted time in moderation is still wasted time. I don’t know how much clearer I can make this.

I am saying to be perfectly clear, is that you can focus on more than one thing at a time.

Exactly how many more Supreme Court Justices do you want obama to put on the court?

How many more obama czars do you want?

It is very important to get the WH along with the Senate this next election.

If you’re determined to be foolish, I won’t try to talk you out of it.

Those of us who recognize that 2012 is merely the opening salvo in the counterattack against socialism will have to work even harder as a result of your lack of complete commitment.
