This concept/theory seems to work in my cubicle.

The giant sauropods referred to were extinct by the Cretaceous. In fact the number of dinosaur species had diminished to about 26 or so. And while triceratops and the hadrosaurs may have been flatulent, I don’t thinki they were capable of producing the amount of CO2 the article envisages.

More methane emanates from Foggy Bottom (ahem) in one year than that of the entire Jurassic. sd

''Our simple proof-of-concept model suggests greenhouse warming by sauropod megaherbivores could have been significant in sustaining warm climates.'' And just look what happened to the planet!!! It's, uh, .... still here.
Well, look what happened to life on the planet!!! It, uh, increased and diversified a million-fold. You could say that since the dinosaurs life has gone ape s#!t all over the world. Just catastrophic isn't it?

I think they may be onto something. When my dog cuts one he can clear a room. Can you possibly imagine what a dinosaur fart must have smelled like?

What a load of crap.
When one of these “scientists” can explain why the hottest period on record is the Roman period (not an SUV in sight) we’ll consider to their theories.
Until then weather happens.

How could the dinosaurs release more carbon into the atmosphere than was in the vegetation that they ultimately acquired it from?
