I run a couple different versions of Linux on some spare computers here in my home office. (I’m listening and posting from my Windows machine.)
I seem to be able to run most streaming internet radio shows on my Linux Mint machine but for some reason the KIDO feed doesn’t play on it.
No big deal.

This is the craziest election ever!
I was thinking of voting for the crazy Uncle in the Texas primary, but not in the general.
I’m skeered that Obama is gonna be re elected.
We’re 6 months out and we have to get all over his narrow ass.

I’ll have to see if I’ve got the Linux version of VLC installed.
Thanks Frog!

Got a good deal (at least in todays' market) on some ammo yesterday at the gun show. Was looking for some more 7.62X54R, but at least two dealers were asking $100 or $105 for a single 440 round spam can of the Russian mil-surp. Kept walking, and came across a fellow who had five of the wooden crates (880 rounds total). I bought one for $155 out the door.
And when I say out the door, he literally hoofed it out the back door to my car for me. No tax, no shipping costs, no problem. When I went back today just to look around some more, I checked by his table, and he had sold every bit of it. The other guys hadn't moved a can. Pricing product right will move inventory!

Good deal!
Speaking of “pricing stuff right to move inventory”, I stopped in a Gander Mountain today. They had a huge selection of some really decent firearms.
Then I started looking at price tags. The reason they have such a huge inventory is because “used” stuff is priced at “new” levels and some of the new stuff seemed to me to be priced above MSRP.

LOL! Tell me about it. The only way I could afford a really nice firearm these days would be to have a winning raffle ticket.
The area NRA folks were doing a really neat feature on their drawings when I went to the gun show. They set up a banner behind their table with about 25-30 photos of different weapons (rifles, shotguns, handguns, even super high end binoculars). When you buy your ticket, you write down the number corresponding the the selection you would like. They sell 50 tickets at $20 a pop. Whoever gets drawn gets the weapon he selected, and they ship it direct for you to a local FFL.
