Got a good deal (at least in todays' market) on some ammo yesterday at the gun show. Was looking for some more 7.62X54R, but at least two dealers were asking $100 or $105 for a single 440 round spam can of the Russian mil-surp. Kept walking, and came across a fellow who had five of the wooden crates (880 rounds total). I bought one for $155 out the door.
And when I say out the door, he literally hoofed it out the back door to my car for me. No tax, no shipping costs, no problem. When I went back today just to look around some more, I checked by his table, and he had sold every bit of it. The other guys hadn't moved a can. Pricing product right will move inventory!

Good deal!
Speaking of “pricing stuff right to move inventory”, I stopped in a Gander Mountain today. They had a huge selection of some really decent firearms.
Then I started looking at price tags. The reason they have such a huge inventory is because “used” stuff is priced at “new” levels and some of the new stuff seemed to me to be priced above MSRP.
