First Mt. Rushmore; next, all of North America. Because the Indians predate the black slaves, I suspect the Indians will win out. HOWEVER, they threw out Homo Erectus who was the first to arrive here from Asia. Therefore, the UN should dispute the Indians' claims.

"HOWEVER, they threw out Homo Erectus who was the first to arrive here from Asia." As opposed to Erectus Homo who made a point of arriving fashionably late...

I have been interested in archaeology and anthropology for over 25 years and I am unaware Homo Erectus ever lived in North America.

Ironically an even larger mountain carving honoring Lakota Chief Crazy Horse is being carved just a few miles away from Mt. Rushmore on private land and without government funding. Would the UN propose to take that away too?
