This is a turning point for this campaign. Starting today with these rallies, we're entering a new stage -- and we don't intend to slow down until the last voter weighs in on November 6th.
(Note by Kristinn: The beginning of the 39-minute video of today's campaign rally featutes a weird and decidedly unpresidential backstage self-introduction by "Barack" as he calls himself. As he is introduced from onstage, backstage Obama speaks (reads a teleprompter) to a camera exhorting his supporters to work for his reelection. The pep talk is timed to end as the onstage introduction finishes. Obama ends by saying, "Let's go get'em. It's game time!," as he starts to strut his way into the arena and toward the stage.)
We’re “ready for you to go”, Mr. President.
Maybe if Zer0 carried some fake Greek columns out to the stage....
I am happy to know he did not pack ‘em in to the site. Either his people are idiots and assumed it would fill, or they were not able to do it. Either way, this is an ominous sign for his re-elect chances ;)
He always sounds like a high school cheer leader, not a president.
OSU is still in session. They should have been able to fill the place up with OWSers.
On Monday, the President will attend meetings at the White House and also hold a conference call with elected officials and student government leaders from across the country to discuss the need to prevent rates from doubling on July 1.
On Tuesday, the President will travel to Albany, New York for an official event on the economy. In the evening, the President will return to Washington, DC to deliver the keynote address at the Asian Pacific American Institute for Congressional Studies 18th Annual Gala Dinner at the Ritz Carlton.
On Wednesday, the President will attend meetings at the White House. In the evening, as part of their "In Performance at the White House" series, the President and First Lady will host a concert in the East Room honoring songwriters Burt Bacharach and Hal David, who will be awarded the 2012 Library of Congress Gershwin Prize for Popular Song. The President will present the award as he did in 2010 and 2009, when the Library of Congress honored Sir Paul McCartney and Stevie Wonder, respectively. The program will include performances by Sheryl Crow, Michael Feinstein, Diana Krall, Lyle Lovett, Mike Myers, Rumer, Arturo Sandoval, Sheléa and Stevie Wonder.
On Thursday, the President will travel to Seattle, Washington and Los Angeles, California for campaign events. The President will remain overnight in Los Angeles, California.
On Friday, the President will travel to Reno, Nevada for an official event on the economy. In the afternoon, the President will return to Washington, DC."
Snapshot of the crowd. Not too full to begin with. Take out the paid attendees, union organizers and presstitutes, and it seems safe to say that at this stage, the Community Organizer isn't much of a draw.
Oh, lawdy. All I can hear in the beginning is screaming. Is that the First Wookie? “Barack knowwwwwwwws........” crap?
Mommy!!!! Please make it stop!!!!!
“Presstitutes”. That’s good.
Bwahahaha....like a Bruce Springsteen concert...
The Grape Koolaid’s really tasty.
John Kerry reporting for duty

I’m sure he wanks off to himself. Seriously.
There seems to be differing estimates of the crowd which showed up. The stadium was maybe 50-75% filled, not an overflow crowd by any means, but still indicative of ardor not completely extinguished.
We STILL have the blind, the lame, the crazy, the old ladies and little children showing up in force, though they are maybe not a majority in any town. But are we to accord them moral authority vastly in excess of their numbers? I think not, but emotion is such a fickle thing.
Not yet a slam-dunk for Mitt Romney, no matter what Dick Morris may be saying. But if Obama loses Ted Turner, then the bottom is pretty close.
Even NYT isn’t cutting Obama nearly as much slack as they were.
Read the comments on u tube!
This brainwashing is truly sick!
Somewhere in a mid-Manhattan precinct late on November 6th...
Well, that’s a relief! Bit was this pic from “showtime”?
