Obama pleads at rally: Im asking you to keep believing in me
By Olivier Knox | The Ticket 4 hrs ago
Fighting to recapture the magic of his history-making 2008 campaign, President Barack Obama on Saturday laid out his fullest-yet case for reelection, pleading with struggling Americans to "keep believing in me" and hitting out at presumptive Republican nominee Mitt Romney.
"If people ask you what this campaign is about, you tell them 'it's still about hope.' You tell them 'it's still about change,'" he told a cheering mass of supporters at Ohio State University in Columbus, six months and one day before the election. "I still believe in you. And I'm asking you to keep believing in me."
Obama, his hopes for a second term weighed down by the stubbornly sluggish economic recovery, worked to convince Americans to view the vote not as a referendum on his record but as a choice between two very different candidates. He painted himself as the champion of the middle class and Romney as eager to "rubber stamp" House Republicans' goal "that we go right back to the policies that created this mess."
"We want businesses to succeed, we want entrepreneurs and investors rewarded when they take risks, when they create jobs and grow our economy. But the true measure of our prosperity is more than just a running tally of every balance sheet and quarterly profit report. I don't care how many ways you try to explain it: Corporations aren't people. People are people," Obama said, mocking a legally accurate but politically problematic comment from Romney early in the campaign.

I am sure that Obama defender here would agree. Lol. And I bet I don’t pay enough in their mind.
As the author mentioned, Romney is correct and Obama is wrong.
How can you tell your neighbor is stupid? He puts an Obama 2012 bumpersticker on his car. How can you tell your neighbor is really stupid? He puts it on the paint.
Are unions people?
You are truly a dumbass. You never had a business and likely never will. Not even worth explaining how ignorant you are. I have many many employees. You can’t operate as a single proprietor in most businesses. Even this website is a corporation. I Spose you think Jim is stupid???
Seriously I am laughing my ass off. On the floor rolling. “voting for the Republican nominee”. Hahaha. Rightttttttt. So what free stuff you want that magically government should give you??? Hahaha.
Grow up. Try and own a business and tell me if it will be a corporation. Or you think it’s a hotdog stand. Go do some research.
Kind of like TinkerBell — ‘if you believe in fairies, clap your hands.’ Or was it ‘whistle’?
‘You’re so lame/ you probably thot this song was about you/ you’re so lame.’
My response to Obama.
I believe he’s evil.
So. you are referring to the author’s assertion in the article that waht Romney said was “a legally accurate but politically problematic comment from Romney early in the campaign.”?
Unfortunately, the author was only half right in that Romney’s comment was a politically problematic comment, but it was wrong to call it a legally accurate comment. If you do not understand the legal difference between a corporation and an individual person, perhaps you could refer to my previous comment wherein I give the definition of a corporation.
If that’s not enough for you, take a night course in business law.
He’s one evil and dangerous sonofabitch.
Every time a child says, 'I don't believe in fairies Obama,' there is a fairy community organizer somewhere that falls down dead.
I'm tempted to get a app which plays a cricket sound and go to one of those empty Obama rallies.
” Im asking you to keep believing in me”
Yeah, like the Easter Bunny & Tooth Fairy
You are obviously avoiding saying why you operate as a corporation and not a sole proprietorship, because that would destroy your whole argument that corporations are people. Romney is not even defending his gaffe, because he knows voters in general understand that a corporation is not a person, but is a legal creation.
I find it odd that a person who owns a corporation would think other people cannot make the distinction, and would become upset when the distinction is pointed out. It is no mystery.
I still HOPE he doesn’t get re-elected, and we need to CHANGE everything he did in his term.
you must be a lawyer....
coporations ACT as a person(s) and therefore represent a person or body of people as a legal creation of a person(s).
Therefore bad mouthing a corporation is the same as bad mouthing a person(s).
Haward lawyers notwithstanding....
Note that, aside from private fundraisers, virtually every appearance Zero has made over the last two months is on a college campus.
There is a reason for that: college campuses are virtually the only places he can draw a crowd anymore. And the only places where he can bathe in youthful adulation.
These are the only venues which can deliver the photo ops and sound bites the campaign needs to feed the MSM.
But, at the same time, it's creating an unsustainable illusion of support and enthusiasm that doesn't really exist.
They know they're in deep spit.
Obama’s internals are showing he’s going to lose and lose big. He’s desperate.
