WOW, even Washington Times is now jumping on the Romney bandwagon! So which GOP leader is now against Mittens? They are all falling like dominoes. It started with Pawlenty. My guess is Sarah Palin will finish the process. Rick wants to be his VP. Dunno what newt wants from Romney but he is going to endorse Mittens this week. Cain has already done it. I bet Ron Paul will not endorse.

So, now it gets down to the Democrat primary in November.

Do they have a choice? Not voting for Romney is voting for 4 years more of Obama - and there will not be the pesky issue of re-election harnassing his radical plans for America. His second term will make the first term look conservative.

I pray everyone decides they love America more than they hate Romney. I realize this is not a popular position on FR, but we all suffer when America suffers - Romney is the only chance you have at this point in time.

I did vote for him once -— in 2002 against Shannon O’Brien.

Half a moldy loaf is better than... a fermented turd.

This is not party time for a half competent wishy washy waffle. How can America so not care? Why was Santorum such a brief flash in the pan (and for that matter, why was Gingrich)?

But in the end... Mitt Romney is very worrisome. Barack Obama is an absolute promise of hell.

Buy stock in nose clothespins. I am.

I get almost as nauseated hearing Romney’s name as I do when I hear Obama mentioned. Something is VERY wrong with him.

I know the difference between rejoicing and resignation. This article is just too forced.

Obama in this first term is just short of crossing a line into out and out tyranny. If he where to go further in a second term “we the people” would have to throw him out of office either by impeachment, and I still think since he is not qualified all that is needed is to arrest him, or by vigilante justice.

Romney on the other hand will hold right where we are at, just short of tyranny. Taxes will go up, Obama care will not go away. The EPA will not be slowed down let alone ended and TSA will continue to run over our rights.

Which way are we better of?

The entire Washington Times article didn't mention a single thing that Romney will actually do as president. Parts of Romney's recent speech are quoted, but many of the quotes consisted mostly of platitudes.

We do know that one of the few times that Romney mentioned a specific plan, it involved indexing the minimum wage to inflation and that alone would be a disaster. We need to move very very quickly away from central planning and toward real freedom, the elimination of direct taxation, a huge reduction in the size of government including the elimination of entire departments (all the ones Perry mentioned and more) and the repeal of so many burdensome regulations. Most of us don't see that in Romney and that's why we are nervous.

Joe Curl works for Matt Drudge and has been in the tank for Romney for a long time.

We gotta throw out the Communist and install the Fabian Socialist!!!! The Future is at stake!!!!

Some say there is not a difference, but there IS A DIFFERENCE! The communist will take over totally and wreck the economy and then do what all communists do. The Fabian will wreck the economy with a little less haste and then take over and do what all communists do. So there is a real difference. Communism's chains and purges and such RIGHT NOW or we ease into it for a little while longer.

Obama is guaranteed Hell. And that’s if we even reach November! He could pull the plug early and start the dictator-dance at any time before the election.

I’m still holding out hope that someone — anyone — better than Romney can steal the reins and get us back on course. But that hope is rapidly fading.

That leaves us with the probable choice of either Romney or Hell, and I’m not ready for Hell yet. (I expect I’ll get there anyway, but that’s another story.) I’ll wear the clothespin, should the need arise.

But here’s something to consider. You can’t run the office of president all by your lonesome. Not possible. You’ll need a TON of advisors, ministers and consuls, just to draw up your daily schedule.

And since Mitt is such a waffler, who can say that he won’t waffle to the RIGHT when his advisors apply pressure? I think we need to spend a LOT of time studying his friends and advisors and possible Cabinet. Hmm?

We wont have to wait long to find out the truth of the matter.

Romney’s first pick (his VP) will tell the tell of what is to come.

If he picks (as I expect him too) another RINO Yankee like Chris Christie, then my worst fears about Romney will be confirmed.

We shall see! The ball is in Romney’s court now.. lets see if he is smart enough to pick a REAL conservative like Palin as a running mate.

Washington Times has been in the tank for Romney for a LONG time. They headlines some outrageous and flimsy hit pieces on Newt and Santorum that other, more respectable media didn’t even bother picking up. I believe they had an editorial last week claiming Newt ran the worst campaign in history, or some such nonsense. They’re right up there with Drudge, Coulter, National Review and much of FOX News as people who were in the tank for Romney hardcore and set out to destroy his opponents in the primary.

LOL, what an idiot. “Tired of being tired?” What does that even mean? Americans need to get more sleep? It’s not “about” the economy, Romney, unless you think Republicans shouldn’t win the presidency any time the economy is going good. It’s about the Constitution and Judeo-Christian values. When those are respected, the economy falls into line on its own. The economy doesn’t need “fixing up” by a big government bureaucracy. Newt was ready to REFORM Social Security, welfare, food stamps, the income tax, the whole management style of government, the EPA, the space program, etc. Romney hasn’t made a single original or meaningful proposal. He is the candidate of the status quo, which is why he was backed so resoundingly by K Street and Wall Street, who are making billions off of our debt on the backs of the taxpayer. Romney is the last thing our country needs from the Republican party right now. The decay will continue and we’ll catch up with Greece sooner than later.
