CONROE, Texas (AP) A Texas woman accused of kidnapping a newborn boy after fatally shooting his mother said she is not "some sort of monster" and people should not judge her until they know the facts.
Verna McClain, 30, has been charged with shooting Kala Golden-Schuchardt, 28, in the parking lot of a pediatric clinic in the Houston suburb of Spring and snatching her 3-day-old son on April 17. The baby was later found safe.

Oh, yes. For God’s sake, don’t “Judge” her! “You don’t know me!” I can hear it now.
MONSTER
Uh...wait. Is this gal saying she didn't shoot a woman and steal her baby or is she saying that there are some additional facts that will make shooting someone and stealing their baby seem ok?
Then she has no idea what a monster is.
This, THING, is the lowest of the low and does not deserve to live. If we had an animal like this we would put down the whole blood line. There is a screw loose or very bad gene in that one.
oh! And don’t forget!!
After shooting somebody and stealing their baby....she ran over the mom too.
And also lied to her fiance about being fake pregnant.
But hey! Don’t be so judgemental! There MUST be an explanation! /s
Death penalty if possible, if not, life without parole.
Assuming that she is guilty of this crime, what facts could make her not a monster?
This whole self-esteem and tolerance thing has gone way too far.
Even the worst people, obviously guilty of the worst sort of crimes - will go to their graves insisting they were the aggrieved party - that they got a bad break - that people were out to get them - that everything they did was correct - and that you can't judge them - you don't know “the facts”.
Keep that in mind the next time you try to convince another person that they did something wrong.
+ don't make a lick of sense.
Yeah! Don’t be hatin’! You don’t even know her!
Do I really need the “/s”?
was desperate to find a child she could present to her fiancée as his
don’t make a lick of sense.

This thing is not only a monster, but a brainless monster.
Not much room for a gray area here. If she did it, she's a monster. If she didn't, she isn't.
If the jury decides there is absolutely NO question of guilt & the perp denies guilt, then the executioner should take him/her behind the courthouse & put a bullet into the back of their head, immediately after the trial. Murderers awaiting trial should be made to watch, in case they might want to change their plea & avoid the bullet.
BTW, I don't care if the perp is adjudged as mentally unfit. These MONSTERS are a menace to society, as surely as is a rabid dog. They deserve the same swift death for exactly the same reason - protection of innocent people.
Oh, yeah. Wasn’t this the case that was all over the news for resembling the George Zimmerman/Trayvon Martin case, because the victim was white and unarmed? I seem to remember the MSM going all out to show the similarities of the two cases and how this “not a monster” woman was having to hide in the shadows due to a bounty on her head. ?? /s
We have heard little other than this story here in Houston since it happened. A local radio station KTRH has a poll asking your opinion, is she a monster or not. I voted this morning and it was about 60% thinking she was a monster and 30% thinking she wasn’t. If you go to KTRH.com to vote read the poll questions carefully. If you vote YES because you think she is a monster you will be voting wrong because a YES answer is agreeing with her that she is NOT a monster. Hope they have gotten complaints on the wording by now, but be careful.
I don't even know what to think or say about this character. He is either pure evil (like his fiance) or is the stupidest man on the face of the earth.
I’m not sure it is fair to all the monsters out there to lump them in with Verna McClain. She is in her own category of evil. From now on, when people commit the most horrendous crimes they should say, “I’m not a Verna McClain.”
