Why am I so passionate today? Well, most readers who visit here know the country is in deep doo-doo. Im here to tell you that voting for Mitt Romney (D-Mass.) will not change that fact and may make things worse. I will explain two things. First, Romney (D-Mass.) is the presumptive Republican nominee precisely because he will do nothing to improve our countrys fortunes. He is the chosen one because he will maintain the status quo. That is what the GOP machine has chosen him to do.
Second, you cannot take over the Republican machine and turn it into something in decent. I have made that statement before, but Im going to describe the machine in greater detail. Keep in mind that this is information I have obtained from current and former GOP insiders. Everyone on the inside agrees that the Party has been constructed so it cannot be taken over. They have also constructed a political system so the political duopoly is very, very difficult to challenge. (Republican insiders HATE political freedom, like so many other freedoms.) Whether thats a good thing or bad thing is a matter of judgment. For conservatives and libertarians its bad. For establishmentarians its wonderful.
Finally I will explain why voting for Romney (D-Mass.) is the worst thing you can do, regardless of whether youre a principals voter or a strategic voter.
If you are not one hundred percent convinced that I am correct in those statements, you absolutely must read the rest of this piece and tell me where Im wrong. I know Im correct, and I can assure you that if you vote for Romney (D-Mass.) it will be the greatest political regret of your life.

And just for the record, I find Milt Rominy to be a loathesome creature. But I do not believe this America will survive another four years of the little bastard commie and his thugocracy. Rominy will only work out if we can elect a majority into the Senate who will hold the 'melchizedek high priest's feet to Constitution. If not, all we have done is stretched the collapse out a few short years.
But we know how the Cloward-Piven strategy ends the Republic very quickly, and we can see what the little bastard commie is doing to the infrastructure for his elitist masters, we can see the racial dividing this racist prick is fomenting, and what he will do to the SCOTUS will end the rule of law and establish rule by the oligarchs. At least with Milt we are still guessing how socialist he is.
I just fussed at myself for the same thing. The ironic thing is, I would put my pro-life beliefs, credentials and experiences against anybody's. While not exceeding everyone's, I know I wouldn't be found wanting. While I was anti-abortion before, one does not have a child born 12 weeks early and watch that child fight and struggle while growing slowly stronger just a little bit each day and experience setbacks and complications, and then good days and improvements, and surgeries, and healings, until they finally come home 10 weeks later and today have a wonderfully healthy four-year old, and all of this after losing another child even earlier along a couple of years earlier, without gaining a better understanding of God's miracle of life and just how precious it is.
What a run-on sentence. It simply comes down to the fact that our country needs Obama to lose. And there is only one path that leads there.
What-ever floats your boat.
I'll be voting against the Communist, you go ahead and sit this one out.
But don't come back to FR bitching about an Obamah 2nd term.
What a fool!!
I’m good for maybe 4 or 5 more presidential elections...I doubt I will see much of a change before I’m gone.
Sounds like virtually the same arguments I’ve been making about Romney and the GOP since this primary started. It all seemed quite apparent by reading in between the lines of how everything went down, especially the massive, inexplicable bias towards Romney by most of the “conservative” media. That kind of thing does not come from people who altruistically want the “best” candidate. It comes from a coordinated and well-funded propaganda machine. Interesting to see everything I observed about Romney and the GOP confirmed by someone who actually has inside connections. I’m not interested in going libertarian though. Hopefully Americans Elect picks someone more appealing.
hmm 4-5. Including this one when i turn 58.....
So...do you ... or do you not...
...lay the blame of Obama problems & consequences -- all that fall-out delivered to our laps as voter-citizens
...at the feet of Obama voters or not?
If you're consistent...All that Obama fall-out we've suffered household-by-household...would be just a "drama queen" association if anybody was to actually tie Obama policies & Obama doctrines & Obama socialism to actual Obama voters.
Why, sayz you, apparently those Obama voters had nothing to do with our national suffering. Why, anybody making such a claim is merely engaging in anti-libertarian "drama queenism."
Of course, I don't think you can be consistent here...(Why would that surprise me about a Romney supporter on a conservative site?)
One of two things happens in November: Obama is elected or Romney is elected. That's it. No third option, no third party, no Sarah to ride to the rescue, no brokered convention. I don't want the former to happen. Period. Do you?
Barring a sudden economic freefall, I believe the MSM will rise up in this country and deliver the most potent Romney vetting ever delivered of a candidate in a 5-6 month period
Most of it -- they won't even need to make up (for once). They can just post Romney-as-is.
I believe that will turn the voter tide vs. Romney...
...the Independents will begin to run away because of whacky Mormonism being finally vetted by the MSM (I say "finally" 'cause it's mostly been surface stuff til now)...
...Some conservative Christians will think twice about endorsing idolatry -- a candidate who thinks he's a "god-in-embryo"...
...Some pro-life conservatives will think long & hard about voting for someone who still thinks it's "OK" for parents to give their offspring to "research"...
...Some libertarians will think long & hard about voting for a big-govt socialist healthcare pioneer...
...And all will see how untrustworthy ANYTHING Romney says is...his flip-flops on abortion, on embryos, on protecting sexual minority employees, etc...are all legendary...
That'll be "enough" to ensure a Romney loss...And then all of the pro-Romney supporters on FR will have egg on their face...
Why?
#1 They will have wasted their vote. If the only votes that truly count are the ones for the winner, then all other votes were wasted...those votes for a second-place also-ran were no better than the votes for a third-place also-ran. "Also-rans" just don't count -- as posters like you keep reminding us.
#2 They will have seared their conscience once and for all. No longer will they be able to come on FR and preach vs. big govt...or socialistic healthcare...or abortion policies...or liberal judge appointments...why? Because they embraced the same liberal candidacy on these same issues...only the (R) version of the same! To do some about-face would be downright hypocrisy!
#3 They will have seared their FR reputation.
Big govt? Check. ("Count me in as a 'conservative voter'")/sarc
Socialistic healthcare? Check. ("Count me in as a 'conservative voter'") /sarc
Aborting & giving the next generation in the womb to research? Check. ("Count me in as a 'conservative voter'") /sarc
Appointing 75% of liberal judges? Check. ("Count me in as a 'conservative voter'") /sarc
Excellent point. If Obama wins then anyone that did not vote to defeat him really needs to shut their mouth the next 4 years about his policies.
Sounds like virtually the same arguments I’ve been making here about Romney and the GOP since this primary started, right down to him being an empty-suited Wall Street puppet who wants the title in exchange for doing everything his handlers in the party and its financial backers want. Hopefully Americans Elect finds someone more appealing.
If you’ve seen some of the articles interviewing voters you know all kinds of them voted for Romney for some of the stupidest, most vapid reasons imaginable. There are also some Tea Party groups which endorsed Romney, which shows they’re either corrupt, infiltrated by the establishment or just plain stupid.
Who's sitting anything out? There's other races/issues besides POTUS. I, like, hundreds of thousands & eventual millions of other GOP voters, will become ex-GoP when Romney gets the nomination...(I don't predict a huge exodus in 2012...many will wait til Romney becomes another Bob Dole & will leave in 2013)
The shrinking pie piece of registered voters -- 29% right now for the Repubs -- will shrink all the more as they move further toward Whig-like extinction. (I mean, hey, if we wanted somebody to the left of LBJ, many of us would have become Dems long ago!)
But don't come back to FR bitching about an Obamah 2nd term.
Well, don't come back on FR bitching about the potential Dems' POTUS dynasty because the Republicans decided to provoke and evacuate its base in 2012.
Remember...Evangelicals were 34% of the ENTIRE electorate in the 2010 election. That's not 34% of the Republican primaries... but the entire vote...
The Evangelicals didn't rally around a single candidate; split their vote; and we get RINOman as the result.
Some will vote for self-confessed "evil"; others won't.
And even those that do will wind up with a bad taste in their mouth they'll never be able to get rid of...that guilt coupled with association of being a Republican will eventually cause many of them to leave the party.
How ironic. Here conservatives blamed politicians for not biting the bullet -- when they themselves as voter-citizens didn't want to bite the 2012 bullet, either.
We are guilty of the very thing we accuse politicians of...We deserve as a nation God's holy judgment.
None of them have the power of the Executive Order.
I’m voting and it sure as hell isn’t for Steve Dunham. To not vote for Pres means an 0 vote. My vote will at least cancel that of a Dem dead.
Reality is somebody in town telling you that your daughter can either marry...
...(a) somebody who will abort your grandkids
...Or (b) somebody who will abort your grandkids while also giving some of them to "research"
And, then, you, thinking "reality" is what you've been told, wind up publicly endorsing "choice B".
Now, it's true...Perhaps, your daughter would have married choice (a) or choice (b), anyway...Maybe, you thought you were just making the best of a situation in which you invited a mistress into your life who was advising you to tell your daughter to avoid choice (a) at all costs...and you knew Choice C wouldn't work out til four years down the line...
But hey...what you forgot is there's no guarantee that choice (b) would result in a real "marriage," anyway...after all, a six-month "marriage of convenience" that ends in a divorce to a loser wasn't a marriage worth endorsing, anyway, right?
So...beyond that...is endorsing such a grandkid-aborting character what you want to be known for reputationally (as well as ultimate accountability before God)?
So what? I was only clarifying I’ve not advised anyone to “stay home”...so FR posters should stop making overreach assumptions that don’t apply.
Amen ... and blessings to your little one.
How warped is that!!
As of now, you've become a pro-abort...
A RINO
A promoter of Big govt
A promoter of socialistic healthcare
A promoter of global warming
A promoter of liberal judge appointers
A promoter of idolatry -- elevating somebody who portends to be a "god in embryo" on his way to full grown-up godhood
A promoter of somebody who embraced with 10% of his income open racism from age 18 to 31 -- and who still endorses "sacred books" that proclaim the same!
Wow! Such a "new" proud Republican "tradition" to leave your kids & grandkids!
