A controversial Florida pastor has burned copies of the Koran and a depiction of the prophet Mohammed to protest the imprisonment in Iran of a Christian clergyman Youcef Nadarkhani.

I’m not big on book burnin’ either but the first time this came up years ago I figured the way to do some good would have been for the preacher to round up some old Danielle Steele or maybe Zane Grey paper backs and just glue some Koran covers on them, make his point and then burn something worth burning. Pick anything from the fiction rack at Barnes & Noble, glue a pic of Mohammud on it , and light it up. The only thing the mideast nutcases understand is overwhelming force.
