Everyone please send whatever you are able to, whether it is $10, $100 or $1,000+. The DUmmies, Morons, Kos Kiddies and that crew are laughing up their sleeves. Jim may have to make this site members only or allow ads. Better for us to just help with what we can. Maybe you can donate as a memorial for a lost loved one, a servicemember who never made it home or was disabled defending our country. Perhaps you'd like to give to keep free discussion alive and to show them that we're not knuckling under. I'm sure a well thought out or prayerful meditation will lead you to see the need and how you can help. If every registered FReeper and our lurkers would each just help out with a fin or a sawbuck, or better yet a Ben Franklin, we could put this to bed and get on with the conservative cause.
Well at this point all I can do is elect Ted Cruz to the senate to send on more Texan up there to give them the finger.

No. Perry announced for President on August 13th. Palin made it official she was not running on Oct 5th. The wave of hate and vitriol directed at Perry was especially bad between those 2 dates (which encompassed the 4 September debates).
I particularly had a distrust of Herman Cain.

If Rick Perry had stuck to the issues he so brilliantly wrote of in his book instead of listening to high powered political consultants like Dave Carney he would be our Republican nominee today!

I put a lot of effort supporting a Tea Party candidate in 2010. He lost, but he also tied down two million in Dem campaign funds that would have gone to other races. So sometimes, even if your candidate loses, you can help the bigger cause.
Now, after redistricting, the district is even MORE dem now. So I'm looking for some other down-ticket race to back. I think that is what a lot of us will be doing this time.
Not arguing that and especially not on this thread. What I am arguing is that Perry knocked off Perry and no one else! You don't win elections by insulting strong supporters!

A lot of people are getting wrapped around the axle with Jim’s declaration that we cant support Romney.
Nobody here is a Romney fan, and I think I was one of the first here to say “Look, at this point we need to vote down ballot and get the Senate”
Beyond that I think we need to vote down ballot to reinforce the local community.
Remember we are the Government and it starts at the local level.
Where I disagree with Jim is that Romney is preferable to Obama, because I honestly believe that if Obama gets a second term he will go scorched earth on us and he will replace Ruth Buzzy Ginsberg with a young liberal Judge.
Romney “might” appoint a liberal Turd to the SCOTUS.

Some are not apparent because really offensive posts get removed.
Not everybody zotted gets it for being a dem operative or a troll.
Last time I was suspended (during the last election returns, that was a bummer)
I got it for making sport of some talk radio guy, I invented
a story on a thread about whatever yapper getting arrested
for some kind of embarrassing thing and then admitted I made
it up and that I was “just yanking your chain”.
Boom, suspended for a week. Reason?
“You’re not the only one that can yank chains.”
I saw the irony, if not the humor.
