Well at this point all I can do is elect Ted Cruz to the senate to send on more Texan up there to give them the finger.

I put a lot of effort supporting a Tea Party candidate in 2010. He lost, but he also tied down two million in Dem campaign funds that would have gone to other races. So sometimes, even if your candidate loses, you can help the bigger cause.
Now, after redistricting, the district is even MORE dem now. So I'm looking for some other down-ticket race to back. I think that is what a lot of us will be doing this time.
AMEN! He is my congressman and I know him personally and I can tell you he is completely genuine and hasn't drunk the DC water. A rabid Obama supporter is challenging him this year and she is being very smart, going church to church, door to door. Although we are in a very Conservative area, she is appealing to the masses that don't often vote and really pulling the BS line that it is life or death to get her and other Obamaites in office.
