What you stated is patently untrue. Ben Gurion International Airport and it's security details. Israel is MUCH more intensive than we are.

Huh? What do you mean “intensive”? I travel there, and if you mean invasive as in body scans, that is nonsense. Utterly fooey!
I did not say that Israel’s security were less INTENSIVE, I said they were less INTRUSIVE. HUGE difference.
And, while it IS true that the Israelis MAY do an occasional body search if they have doubts about a specific person, MOST of the time they don’t touch you. They don’t need to.
So, at the functional level where it matters to the flying public, Israel’s security is tighter than ours; more intense, but virtually hands-off. TSA “security” is lax, less intense, but more personally intrusive.
