I want to ask those who consider themselves conservatives, and are going to vote for Romney because he happens to have an (R) instead of a (D) behind his name on the ballot sheet, where do you draw your personal line in the sand and say "No more"? For stupid people reading this (liberals and DHS type workers), I don't mean violence - I mean not voting for "the lesser of two evils".
“And I bet you donated a kidney to a homeless vet. What a load.”
PS - Jealous much?
But hey, if you really need the exercise, have at it.
Sorry, Bubba! :-)
And it can be done again. That's the whole point.
Shoot, I'm not even asking for some sort of ultra-hard right Constitution Party type to vote for (though that looks like all I've got at present). I'd settle for somebody who's simply a reasonable movement conservative. People talk about not voting for the guy who agrees with you 80% - I WOULD. But that's not an option. I agree with Romney probably on about 10% of what I've seen him do and say over the years. That is NOT good enough.
“Theres some real confusing here.”
Correct. It is very confusion these days.

There are people out there who believe Obama has to be stopped, no matter what, and your Kardashian-like thinking is beyond ignorant.
I prefer to think you're a leftist troll. That would be better than if you were someone who actually thinks she's a conservative and that threads like this are helping.
Shove your heart blessing.
Firmly ABO here.
I will gag and vote for Mitt in order to oust the marxist, moslem, America hating islamist and his race-baiting minions from their thrones.
Be gone,Barry, Moochelle, Holder, Axelrod et al, we will vote you out.
I’m with you 100%. I keep in mind that Romney will more than likely look at replacing possibly two Supreme’s with Conservative leaning judges during the first 4 years.
But you are on record as advancing the idea of giving obama another four years.
A few freepers have noticed that some of those of you who are pushing for this are pretty new here --- we can only guess at your true agenda.
Rough thread, isn’t it? I got some nasty nips on my ankles too.
There are a lot of reasons Romney got where he did and very little of it is to blame on the conservatives who didn’t want him. There was only one other credible candidate who didn’t look like a newbie up there or look unpresidential, and that was Newt. Everyone else could easily raise doubts in the voters’ minds as to whether they would be electable against Obama.
Since there was absolutely nothing intrinsic to Newt that made him seem unelectable, the only way that could be done was by Romney destroying his reputation in a shameless, unforgiving, dishonest and brutal manner. Since Romney had far more money than any other candidate, he was able to spew his lies and very little could be done to counter them by his opposition.
Lastly, the party-run media FOX News, Drudge Report, National Review, Washington Times and many RINO radio shows all received their talking points from the RNC and followed orders. Since conservatives heavily get their news from those outlets, nominating anyone other than Romney was about as hard as electing a non-Communist in China. The betrayal by the conservative media of their core audience is the biggest untold story of this election cycle.
I hope that was a cut-and-paste. Life is finite. Gotta use it wisely.
Sorry, facts are facts...
A conservative Congress will block far more from Obama than they will for Romney. Romney can easily get the “team-playing” Republicans to vote with the Democrats to pass left-leaning legislation, just as Bush Sr. did with his tax hikes, in an effort led by lead Romney surrogate John Sununu.
I’m ABO, there is just far too much at stake this election cycle.

The easy way out. I saw Newt as not electable, not really worthy of the office, probably not enough gravitas even for a cabinet position. He's a fine professor I imagine, and a good congressman.
My line in the sand is against another win for
The-Most-High-and-Holy-Emperor-Princess Barry.
I’m no Mitt fan, but if that’s what we’ve got,
he’s got my vote.
Never mind the lesser of two evils,
how about offering a starving man a rotten
sandwich or a cyanide pill??
With Mittens we have another chance to make
good to our Founding Fathers and our grandchildren.
You sit this one out, let Barry win, and we’re
done. That’s the choice we’re looking at.
I’ll take the rotten sandwich and see you another
four years.
