Jon Lovitz, an early Saturday Night Live cast member, had some harsh words for President Barack Obama over the weekend.
In an interview with Clerks director Kevin Smith, Lovitz, a registered Democrat who voted for Obama in 2008, bashed the president for his class warfare rhetoric and the notion that the wealthy dont pay their fair share in taxes.

Ah, what’s wrong, Jon?
Your “penance for white guilt vote” didn’t work out like you expected?
Feel ripped off?
I do know people who voted for Obama who will vote Republican this time. People who pay taxes.
America has about run it’s course, unless there is an all out civil war it is over.
When 50% of people are on government payroll whether in government jobs or food stamps or whatever, they are in it for themselves.
My family history goes back to Revolutionary war and i tell you this hurts like the dickens, but I am looking to a higher power now.
Thanks \
Melissa
Some have realized they got ripped off.
But, there are still some that are suffering in their guilt,
and know that not supporting him just proves they are racists at heart.
Maranatha...
“America” is not our true home.

I'm siding with Lovitz on this one.
I said that in 2007
I bet tons more think the same thing, just don’t have the sac to say so.
Yeah, that’s the ticket Jon!
“America has about run its course...”
Yes, it will take more than a great revival to turn the ship in time. It is time to teach our children to be tough, spiritual, and prepared for the challenging times to come.
They all voted for Mr. Obama because of guilt.
Guilt can be a great motivator, but it is a lousy reason upon which to base an important action.
Perhaps this time, all these guilty healots will vote against him to prove that they are not quite as dense as they were in 2008?
To be fair, it's not as if McLame was all that great of an opponent.
No, I think Jon is financially secure, did the knee-jerk Hollywood thing of being a Democrat and supporting Obama. Now he sees the economic mess Obama has made and Obama playing class warfare, in effect, attacking people such as Lovitz, who worked hard in an insanely competitive field (show business), was successful and now is castigated by Obama as some sort of outcast because he's wealthy. Naturally, Lovitz is pissed. Just shows that even Hollywood lefties can come to their senses. Let's hope the rest of America does - before November 6th.
Jon Lovitz should ready himself for an IRS audit and surveillance of his personal life.
Check out my FR profile page. It has a long study on prayer.
Mr. McCain at least knows what it’s like to defend one’s country.
Yup, he was no “trip to Paris” as a candidate, but a sow’s ear would have been better than Mr. Obama.
I do know people who voted for Obama who will vote Republican this time. People who pay taxes.
I've said the same thing.
Last month I went to lunch with 8 guys, two of whom are retired union guys and were lifelong demonRATS.
Both guys switched and were holding their brand new pubbie voter registration cards.
I know that there are those at FR that won't take that as a victory, but I do.
obummer gotta go.
Doesn't matter who McCain was or what he did. Sarah Palin would not have gotten those peoples' vote if she were top of the ticket. Clarence Thomas wouldn't have got it. Thomas Sowell wouldn't have got it. It was liberal guilt. They wouldn't have cared about their guilt if it had been a conservative black man.
