I keep thinking of an episode of the 1973 TV show Kojak: The Marcus-Nelson Murders. Homicide detective Kojak suspects that the black teenager accused of murdering two white girls is being framed by his fellow detectives.
The case gets a lot of media attention; politics and careers enter the mix. The frightened accused black kid pleads his innocence to detective Kojak who believes him. Kojak educates the defendant to the cold, harsh reality of the situation; he informs the kid that despite his innocence, the case has become such a political hot button, and because the police held the kid in jail for so long, he must be found guilty of something.
I see this same scenario developing in the Martin/Zimmerman case.
Most Americans desire a fair and just outcome when it comes to this tragedy. But Lord help us if the evidence proves Zimmerman innocent. If Zimmerman is ruled not guilty and allowed to walk, I foresee Rodney King-type riots in the streets. Thus, is Zimmerman's fate already sealed? Will a jury decide that Zimmerman must be declared guilty of something?
While Al Sharpton, the New Black Panthers, and all of the other racist race-hustling usual suspects clamor for justice for Trayvon Martin, I wonder if justice is even possible for George Zimmerman.
Tragically and frighteningly, we live in a time in which the law and truth appears to be losing relevance in America....

That's because the black criminal class keeps white liberal elites in power. And they don't care about anything other than that power.
I spent some time at DU looking at the Trayvon threads.
It’s amazing. There’s a common opinion there that once Zimmerman committed the “crime” of profiling Martin, Martin was only being reasonable by physically assaulting Zimmerman. Martin’s unavoidable black rage was unleashed by the racist cop wannabe and his obvious bigotry, and he was merely dealing out a well deserved beating to the much larger Zimmerman.
When the violent racist Zimmerman was too cowardly to manfully take his justified beating, he pulled out his gun and shot the righteously agitated and unarmed youth, probably after Martin had turned his back and had ceased to be a threat, not that he wasn’t justified in smacking Zimmerman around anyway.
The local cops pulled up and had a chuckle with their pal Zimmerman, helped him make up his phony story and it’s only because of Holder and the media riding in like the cavalry that justice might be done.
Once in awhile a poster will point out the legal or logical problems with theories like this, and then he or she gets hounded for being a racist “Zimmerman defender”.
I’m afraid there is no reasoning with those who’ve convicted Zimmerman already. Pointing out facts or points of law only makes them angry.
I hold out hope, with reservations, for justice in court, but there will be no rational reaction in the street.
Justice for Zimmerman??
Ain’t he that racist skinhead who hunted down and shot dead an innocent, unarmed 14-year old black kid who was just skipping down the sidewalk with a bag of candy?
No. There will be no justice for George Zimmerman.
Isn’t DU mainly black posters? I mean, it IS “Democrat Underground”.
Anyone recall the MSM treatment of Richard Jewell (think Atlanta Olympics)?
Who luvs ya’, baby?
let God sort ‘em out.
“Isnt DU mainly black posters? I mean, it IS Democrat Underground.”

I think most of the black Marxist hang out on the Topix
forums, a real collection of trash, but also some real Americans post there.
As for the Martin/Zimmerman fiasco, it is amazing how it has become such a big deal.
I have no doubt that similar events take place most every week in America, but somehow the media jumped on this one
to drum up black/white hate, and maybe give Obumbo a boost.
If the one killed were Zimmerman, the story would maybe make it in the second section, page 2.
The tragic irony exposed by that attitude is those who think "whitey" is only getting what he deserves have completely surrendered the moral high-ground.
Yes, people of color suffered years ago merely for the color of their skin. But to hold me (or any other white man) to blame for that is intellectually dishonest--and again, it surrenders the moral high-ground.
I had nothing to do with what happened to blacks decades or even months ago. But if I'm judged not by the content of my character but instead by merely the color of my caucasian skin, then those who judge me so are just as evil as the plantation owners and the Jim Crow proponents of the South.
Which is a sad, tragic irony indeed.
Not that the likes of Jackson, Sharpton, or Obama give a rat's rear end, mind you. Race-baiters remain race-baiters. No matter how flowing their rhetoric. No matter what their station.
In prison the three dominate American races are fairly evenly matched so a kind of balance of power maintains a kind of “peace.”
Say, however, that the percentage of the races in prison were the same as in the United States as a whole. Naturally, the gangs representing whites would either destroy or control the other gangs from sheer numbers alone.
In prison the law of the racist radicals rule—Obama is trying to force America to go that way as well—he obviously does not know how to count and is aware of what even reasonable men are capable of doing when they and their loved ones are targeted just because of their race. When one is forced to either go racist or die...
“and is NOT aware” correction.

Of course.
Lloyd doesn’t miss much.
Always remember that the basic democrat unit is the Lynch mob.
“That’s because the black criminal class keeps white liberal elites in power. And they don’t care about anything other than that power.”
Absolutely correct!! That is why term limits MUST be imposed, it is the only hope to save our Country,
I don’t think most people care about fairness and justice or even know what fair and just is anymore.
People in the right generally don’t get justice this side of judgement day.
