Police say a man attacked a 65-year-old woman with a knife and ripped the earrings from her body.
Police are investigating the robbery and attack of a woman who they say tried to help a person who she believed to be the victim of a car accident.
It happened Saturday at 9:45 p.m. in Galloway Township. Police say as a 65-year-old woman drove home from the Atlantic City casinos, two vehicles began to follow her on Old Port Republic Road.
The woman told police one of the vehicles passed her and appeared to race up the road in front of her. Seconds later she found what appeared to be the same vehicle sideways across the road in front of her car, forcing her to stop, according to investigators.
The woman claims she saw a person “slumped” over the wheel. Police say she rolled her window down to ask if the person needed help. Suddenly, police say, the driver of the second vehicle that remained behind her approached her with a stocking covering his face and a knife in his hand. The suspect allegedly demanded money and jewelry. Police say the suspect cut the woman on her arm and ripped her earrings from her body. Both vehicles then fled South on Old Port Republic Road back towards US Route 9.
“I would think that someone was definitely watching her to find out exactly what she had, her route home, things like that. Doesn’t seem to be a random act,” said Lt. Chris Doyle, Galloway Township Police.

This kind of thing works, because even careful people get caught off guard. This one is particularly sinister, as it is exactly a scenario that would catch one off guard.
All I see are people jumping to the obvious conclusions. It is possible they may be the wrong conclusions, but nowadays they sure are the obvious ones!
I am getting the feeling the Political Correctness Police are going to have an increasingly harder time making the rest of us think the "correct" way as events continue to slip out of hand. People are awaking to the massive scam this ongoing race-hustling is, and methinks they are finally getting fed up and breaking their chains.
What a story! She was lucky...very.

Oh, I think it will. The race-baiting hustlers and their black plantation slaves looking for a free ride or a way to get back at whitey aren't about to give up their perceived advantage of years of indoctrinating effort, and the wagons will be increasingly encircled by the Liberals, MSM, and feds - especially the DOJ and Rat thugs working with 0bama.
The only way to push back (right now) is at the ballot box. If that fails (fraud?, wag-the-dog?, martial law?), well, I don't even want to think about it.
But, I do, I do. And if skyrocketing firearms and ammo sales and an increasing hardening and polarization of the public discourse are any kind of indications, so are a lot of others, too...
As I say, I think this scam is coming to an end - one way or another.

the new one i heard recently was using infant car seats/strollers to attract victims...

Since the ‘arrival’ of cell phones, I stop for vitrually no one or anything - I will gladly hit 911 or 77 and even go so far as to inform a LEO if I see one directly.
Even as to stopping for an unmarked ‘emergency’ vehicle, just dial 911 or 77 and inform dispatcher what you are doing.
I do have ‘protection’ and always have it on or around me, not matter what the law is for the area.
I am ‘reluctant’ to use it but more than willing if the situation warrants, but I do try and go out of my way to cut down on the chances....
If she had did as you suggested, and the person was one of Holder’s people, what you would have had would have been a Zimmerman incident in Galloway Township. With the same cast of characters, both Black and White leading the lynch mob to this woman.
Damn shame it has come to the point where we have to fear helping a fellow American.....a DAMNED shame!!
I suppose if I were a scheming thieving thug in that area, I would hang out at the casinos and pick my potential victim there (based on winnings, jewelery, clothing, type of car, etc.).
If the prospective victim makes the correct turn onto the preferred road .. Bingo! Game on!
I’ve screen capped that sort of thing in the past before it was gone. Should have done it for this one. It being deleted was pretty predictable.
Again - people are tired of this crap. That they have few outlets for their complaints is not helping things over the long haul.

I had an acquaintance back in that era who traveled all sorts of back roads visiting itty-bitty factories in rural GA, AL, MS, and the FL panhandle as an industrial coatings rep.
He kept a MAC-10 in .45 ACP under his car seat with a couple of spare mags. Not joking. Those things were popular around here back then (ATL-area).
