This winter has almost made up for 1816. (The year without summer”).

So, will the ski areas south of Buffalo open?

I doubt it. If there’s enough snow to open, the roads will be blocked by trees.

Summer heat wave here in CA. It was 94 degrees today in San Jose. We could use some of that cool air.

Meanwhile, I’ll be walking through 100 degrees in Las Vegas Monday (work). It’s too early for 100, even there. Usually it’s June.

Unfortunately you are in the bulls eye and have enough elevation (about 2000 feet) to get hit. There’s still time for the storm to change track but it seems unlikely to fizzle.

Watch the lame stream media only report the excessive heat in those cities. Not the unusual snow. But then, to them it’s always just climate change.

Ugh. We had a very mild winter. Was going to put the plants in from the greenhouse this weekend. Everything else is in bloom outside and beginning to fill in. Very weird winter in western PA.
