Did you ever hear Hatch stand up against the progressives going too far with the police state in the name of domestic terrorism? Was he standing next to Rand Paul raising cane about TSA sexually molesting babies and toddlers?
I did not think so.

Yeah, like Obamas favorite Republican will ever go away. If Lugar loses his primary, I guarantee he will pull a Murkowski. Hey, after all, it's not like it's the people's Senate seat! < / sarcasm off >

Otherwise, you look like someone who enjoys going around kicking rhetorical anthills just for the helluvitThanks for the introduction of the mormon religion to this thread. We'll be happy to provide more fodder for your whines.

Yes, he was first elected in 1977, there should definitely be term limits.

Show me because you have made the charge one anti-mormon thread.
There have been threads exposing mormonISM but zero that are anti-mormon.

I seriously doubt you have the ability to perceive an anti-mormon bias, in much the same way I would doubt a rabid Obama supporter would be able to perceive a trace Bush-bashing on any MSM outlet.
It's not anti-Bush, it's just exposing BushISM...

“LOL Im guessing Hatch is absolutely livid about it too.”
Greta had Urrine on last evening. He acted like some Brahmin and it was an affront to his dignity to have to run against anyone. He called everyone who was against him a liar. I got the same tune directly from him from an e-mail I sent about one of his actions. Both he and Lugar need to go if only because they’ve “served” now for more than 35 years! We need to “off” the RINOs as much if not more than we do the RATS.

I don’t think former Senator Bennett is named Bill.
Robert Bennett comes to mind.

I think you answered your own question. In a super conservative state like Utah their Senators should have a 100% conservative voting record.
A tough conservative would have no problem getting elected and staying elected in Utah.

But it really doesn’t answer my question. First off, Heritage currently doesn’t give any congressman or congresswoman a 100% conservative rating. Here are the Top 10 highest scores in the Senate right now:
1) Jim DeMint (NC) - 99%
1) Mike Lee (UT) - 99%
3) Marco Rubio (FL) - 97%
4) Rand Paul (KY) - 96%
5) Ron Johnson (WI) - 94%
6) Tom Coburn (OK) - 91%
6) Orrin Hatch (UT) - 91%
8) Jim Risch (ID) - 90%
9) Pat Toomey (PA) - 89%
10) Michael Crapo (ID) - 87%
10) Jim Inhofe (LA) - 87%
10) David Vitter (LA) - 87%
From the list, one can see what a nice job our top Tea Party senators have done in keeping their promises to vote for legislation backing conservative principles (and I’d say they each deserve an e-mail or phone call of thanks from each one of us). That said, one also can’t ignore that Orrin Hatch’s voting record is measuring right up there with our Tea Party favorites, according to Heritage. So it begs the question... Why are so many Freepers accusing Hatch of being a RINO?

he was one of the original Tea Partiers he said so. That is not just funny. It is a true statement. He really got me to the point where I just tossed every letter and deleted every email as he feigned belief in the Tea Party.

I wonder how much money he has for defending the seat. It cost McCain over $20 million to win last round.

” These people are not conservatives. Theyre not Republicans, Hatch angrily responds. Theyre radical libertarians and Im doggone offended by it.
Then Hatch, a former boxer, turns combative. I despise these people, and Im not the guy you come in and dump on without getting punched in the mouth. “

Levin is ‘Bnai’Brith, so he aligns with all other forms of freemasonry, which mormonism clearly is.
