I guess we should be worried that he might take enough votes in Virginia to throw the state to Obama. On the other hand, he is only known in one congressional district, and he lost that district to a democrat who then lost in the next election.
And he clearly didn’t think he would be able to win a state-wide election for Senate (I wish he would have run for the Senate seat against Warner), or to throw his hat in the ring for Governor or Lt. Governor (although he’d have a hard time there).

Glad he is stepping up to the plate.
Never heard of the guy, is this him?
William Clinton - 43.01 %
George Bush - 37.45%
Ross Perot - 18.91 %
So how did THAT third party work out for ya?

See? Now here comes the mocking stage from the GOP-e. Or perhaps the GOP-e is going through the Kübler-Ross model. I’m sure acceptance of their death will take some time.
To: Steelers6
I will certainly give him a look.

Here's another issue where Newt stands apart: Unlike Newt, those other two guys actually have a chance at becoming the next president.
Newt's not alone though. Virgil Goode will be joining him on the sidelines (hopefully in better financial standing).

See? Now here comes the mocking stage from the GOP-
Mocking? Sounds to me like you're doing the mocking and intimidation. I merely presented the facts and what you do with them is your business..........
Should Obama get elected, you can always blame it on the 45% who voted for Romney and not your unknown candidate who drew the miniscule votes necessary for a GOP election......
Using your logic, Perot never got elected because 37.45% of the American voters were morons...........LOL!

So how did THAT third party work out for ya?Perot was shafted by the RNC machine. Otherwise, he was a viable candidate.

Thank God. I can vote in the General afterall.

A 43.01% vote that elects Clinton is all I need to know about Perot or any other third party candidate for that matter........
Guess ol' Ross certainly stuck it to the GOP didn't he? Kinda makes you wonder if he was in the race for self promotion or for love of country doesn't it?
Given the fact that he knew damn well he had no chance of winning, I'd say he was in it for the publicity........which he certainly got.

If Romney is the nominee, I don’t care if he loses.

I believe Virgil Goode was one of only about five House Democrats to vote for the Articles of Impeachment against President Clinton...
